Yes according to all the research reading I have done.

I think it all depends if you want shorter bushier plants then shorter pots mine are 5 gallon grow pots I cut down to be close to 3.5 gallon pots. My tent is just over 5 feet tall so I have to keep the height of plants shorter.

I have also made a small grow tent like structure out of a plastic tote with a circulation fan small led grow light the tote has a hole in the bottom in the middle and you just set it on top of the grow pot. The tote inside and top have a layer of mylar on it.
