    Spin-Out for Chemical Root Pruning

Moving the bags wont disturb or damage the root system in any way. Ive pulled some really dense rootballs out of my fabric bags, and if I wanted to disturb them, I would have to beat it with a hammer.

    Spin-Out for Chemical Root Pruning

Bob, I was reading the description of those Agroliner bags with spinout, and It says they can be used either way. They can be used to prevent invasive roots entering the rootball, or to keep the roots within the bag from growing into surrounding soil(if placed in ground). I think that I will...

Balls to the Wall grow, Riddleme Gets Serious

I actually use a similar product to Smart pots made from recycled jeans! :). They're called Root Pouch, and are are extremely cheap. $.37 per 3 gallon bag. You like to experiment, so I say give it a try some day. Also, Id like to suggest you buy yourself a Caliber III Hygrometer/Thermometer...

Plant Moisture Stress - Symptoms and Solutions

Small white spots on the top of leaves are usually spider mites. I would check the underside of the leaves with a pocket scope to verify. At the very least google spider mites and check out some pictures to see if its the same.

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

I know its a long thread, and no one likes reading through every page to find their answers, but if you use the search function you'll find them easier. Just as much as you hate to read through so many pages, we hate to have the same question asked repeatedly every few pages.

    Full House featuring Uncle Joey. 1200 Watts & 7 strains(Satori, C99xDC, HazexSkunk...

I thought I would show some pics of my Skunk Haze E clone. Ive been neglecting my plants lately, but thankfully this lady still looks great after a month in her 1 gallon root pouch. Likely because she's not flowering heavily yet, and really hasn't ramped up her nutrient uptake. Ive only fed...

Plant Moisture Stress - Symptoms and Solutions

You shouldn't need to water your plants every day unless you A.) have a very fast draining soil(unlikely as any soil sold in stores does not fit this criteria), or B.) your plants are quite large and require alot of water. When lower leaves turn yellow and wilt or fall off its often because the...

    Full House featuring Uncle Joey. 1200 Watts & 7 strains(Satori, C99xDC, HazexSkunk...

Haha. It sure does look like it. I did nothing more than water it, and four days later it was dead. The other two plants were in better shape, but they were in a bit more shaded location. I think the sun baked the roots, and the plant could no longer uptake water, and it just died. My other two...

Okay, time for some updates. In keeping with the tradition of this thread(read: failures), I present another one to you. One of my outdoor plants was a total loss. It was watered four days ago, and below you is how it looked today. Awesome. Totally.

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Lefreq, I have two Jack the Ripper clones in flower right now. One is topped, and the other is untopped. They both were cloned at same time, and flowered at the same time. I expect in 4-5 weeks they will be ready to harvest, and I can do a comparison for weight, but It looks like the topped...

But, wait theres more! My Chunky B clone went hermie on me too! The seed plant didn't, so I imagine it was the stress of revegging for a couple of weeks before I flowered it. I took her down 7-14 days earlier than I would have liked, but not much I could do. She had about 6 nanners. None had...

Balls to the Wall grow, Riddleme Gets Serious

I know nothing about AgroBrite lamps, and I can't even find a manufacturers website when I google the name.. When it comes to bulbs, I think its always best to buy a bulb from a well known manufacturer, that has lots of experience in the lighting industry(GE, Ushio, Osram, Philips, etc). I...

Balls to the Wall grow, Riddleme Gets Serious

Im just going off the strain description on NL#1 at Attitude, and it says it is a pure Indica, so I would expect tighter nodes, but..then I read this on ICMAG about Sensi NL whodair Senior Member Join Date: Oct...

Riddleme, are you counting nodal growth per plant each day? It looks more like your ladies are stretching than growing new nodes to me, especially considering they are under CMH. It looks like your infrared treatments could be generating this.

Can someone tell me if this is Karma, or just bad luck? I ordered some fast food last recently, and everything was wrong with the food. Hell even the cup leaked, so I called and made a complaint. I rarely ever call and complain. I didn't even mention everything that was wrong about the meal to...

Ive never heard of either of those brands, but I have learned if you want a good light bulb get one from the large manufacturers/developers of bulbs(not just grow lights). Philips, Osram, Ushio, GE, all fall into this category, and Im probably leaving a couple others out. They've got decades and...
