shit he let em flower for 8 months? id expect them to overflower and stress herm after that long. but by cutting off the highest point thats nearest to the light source you redirect energy to the lower branches that photosynthesized less and got less energy since they werent significant bud...

haha yeah your good, the garlic doesnt stick too bad but it can leave a hint of smell. i try to only hit fan leaves if i see mites, marigold/neem spray from the buds. a heavy spray of regular water is good too. oh and id shake off any branches that have excess moisture to avoid any chances of mold.

i wanna say magnesium or iron but im not too sure. id just flush and feed micro nutes.

yeah youll be good if its that early, if it happens later on have some neem so the buds wont be effected, ive sprayed buds with garlic and pepper extract during the last 2 weeks of flower, not a good idea.

those top buds look pretty mature ocho, id say run another few days with that, give em a good flush with like 1/2 your pot size(i imagine coco drains better than soil so not as much water is probably needed). since the top colas get the most energy you could let the lower buds use another week...
