1st time growing outdoors. I was just wanting to know how to tell if your buds are ready to harvest? Is it the same as growing indoors? You would just check the trichs on the bud right?

I move her into the sun. I get about 6 hours of direct sunlight where she is. so I have to keep moving her around.

I was just asking because it seems cheaper than perlite. I see alot of people use perlite for hempy buckets or whatever they choose. So is hydroton ok or would not work?

thank you for your reply. I water till I get runoff out the bottom but by the end of the day she will be wilting. I ph my tap water but watering everyday is a pain whe trying to ph water 1 gallon at time. So can I just use the water hose to water her or just keep phing the water 1 gallon at a time?

ok thank you for your reply. If I water morning and afternoon. Would it be water/water 1 day. Then water/water the next day. Then feed//feed the next day? If so that means I need to mix nutes for a morning feed and mix nute again for a afternoon feed?

ok the reason I ask is. It gets warm,hot here in northern california. So say by like 2pm -3pm she is wilting. so is it ok for her to wilt alittle or is that a sign of her needing water?
