You're making a hell of an assumption if you consider the only alternative to over-analyzing is being under prepared. There is a very real middle ground where your own experience and practice is far more valuable than rollitpup.org.

So many growers get stuck in an "analysis paralysis" state. You get to a point where you're just analyzing too much and would gain more by doing.

Those aren't the pistils people are referring to. All those white hairs on your bud will turn orange/red. Like many said, weeks to go!

Pull on a yellowing sugar leaf, if there is bud rot in the stem you will feel the leaf come loose almost "unnaturally".

Many tree barks contain compounds that inhibit growth as well.

Don't preach less is more if you're using a bottled nutrient :p
