first of all i wasn't try to knock anyone. i wanted more experience guys that have seen it all. Maybe this is a stupid question, but there is logic behind it. I am a biologist and in there is a thing called evolution. There must be some inherit trait that distinguishes females from males...

So male plants without manupilation of structure (topping,lst,supercrip) have less tops? Or do growers see equal amounts of tops for male vs female in hindsight ? Again this question is for Experience growers ( less than 10 grows do not apply)

Doesn't the tops eventually become bud sites for the females? and yes, the males have pollen sac structures on their perspective tops. I guess there's no way to tell besides pre-flowers and vegging til it shows the sex.

Changed my timer to 6pm ON 6am OFF. Hope to harvest for Christmas. :-). I'll find out in 2weeks if boy or girl.

Blumat watering probes should work too. Look it up on amazon. I am in the same boat. I have a 5day vacation coming up with the wifey. Would it be insane to leave my grow cabinet unattended for 5days? Watering should be covered with the blumats, but i am afraid my plants would touch my CFL...

You're flowering already? Our grows were started about the same time. Was space a limiting factor?

27C isn't that hot is it? My cabinet was running at 95F which is about 35C. I know this isn't ideal, but cannabis typically is grown in very hot climates.
