So I know that rabbit poo is a good source of N. And I have a rabbit. I have soil thats at .10-.05-.05 and I want to add the rabbit pellets. But should I just mix it into the soil? How much? The real question is: how hard is it to Nutrient burn a new seedling with rabbit poo.

Funny idea but may just work. Take one of these CO2 dust busters and empty a whip-it a day into your little grow cabinet. Would it work?

I remember hearing if there is a high amount of light, your more likely to get a female. Is this true? Are there any other ways to make getting a female more likely?

I heard a while back that before going into flowering, turn the lights completely off for 24 hours to shock it into flowering. Is this true or does this do more harm than good?

Lol yes it is. And very well executed too, good job. But I unfortunately only have a small closet to do my project in. And I also do not have the funds for that kind of operation.

In my research 26-30watt lights are 3x more powerful in lumens per dollar than 85, and 105 watters. But do the high powered ones do a better job? Do they put off light for a wider distance? Or is 1200 lumens just 1200 lumens no matter how you add it up. Thanks.

The CFls yes. But the T5 would be defeating the purpose as upwards of 40% of the light would be too far away to be effective, and maybe 10% be too close.

Are you guys tellin me that a 150 Watt HPS gives off the same amount of heat as 150 Watts of CFL light. I feel like I should start a new thread for that question. Never mind I found my answer. Lumens determines how much heat is produced.

So I've made an actual 100% to scale diagram of how the T5 would look in a case that it's too big for. It would HAVE to sit at this angle just to fit. I think I'll go with CFLs. Cheaper too. Thanks for everyones input!

The t5 would be sitting at an angle due to the inside only being 22.5" and the light being 23.3". Small technicality but that is why I started the thread.

I was going to build a light tight grow box and throw the ionizer in there. I've heard the fluorescents don't put off too much heat. Is it really practical to be exhausting weed air out into the closet space. Should I exhaust the air into a second chamber where the ionizer is?
