This is so important! More & more people need to be doing this! Some of my friends think i'm crazy, but when the shit hits the fan & we need food & water, they'll be coming to me. It's not just food, but meds, soap... everything you need, oh & guns!. It's better to be safe. Good thread!

I think people are getting this wrong. Why would it be okay for my son to water everything but these few plants? A child has no idea, they are having fun watering things & helping out Mom. I think a teenager is a different story...

I see what you are saying & agree. I'm sure you are picturing something different then what actually goes on. I would never have drugs around my kids, ever, at any age. But a little plant sprouting, I see no problem w/ him watering them. He waters the flowers outside, waters the houseplants...

Same here. They never are allowed to go in w/ out us. We have those childproof door knob thingies. Guess I should've included that!

We have a garden outside too, the kids love it. But seriously, when you're transplanting, mom's digging in the dirt, why not? I have a few palnts & find no harm w/ the kids knowing we have plants inside the house too. Plus, the police aren't going to take your kids away when you are allowed...

Since I started smoking again, there really aren't any moments of anger. Everythings awesome.

That's the thing is him saying anything, & it's not a matter of if, but when. Kids talk, & kids brag. But he is young enough & doesn't understand, so no need to have the 'talk' anytime soon.

I have an almost 4 year old, & if you ask him they are 'tomato' plants. He does like to water & help transplant, but he likes to help me do everything! I also have an almost 2 year old, he like to look at them. I'm just not quite sure what I'm going to say when he's older, how to explain it...

HeyHey!!! Just joined & this is my 1st post ever! & 1st REAL grow! My husband & I found a lil' hobby to do together. I've been a pothead for 15 years, then stopped for about 6 years, now back at it full force & completely legal. Which it should be 100% legal anyways... but I'll save that...
