Yeah, the one that I have that is really strong was made using 190 proof grain alcohol, and sat with the buds for 3 months (cold method). I let some of the alcohol evaporate, so if someone who only smokes once a week takes a drop or two under the tongue, they will be VERY stoned.

Depends on the tinc, some you can feel after 10 minutes, and peak in 45 mins, but die after 3 hours. There are others that you dont feel for an hour, but peak at hour 2 and last for 8 hours. Depends on glycerine, alcohol %, etc and strain used, how long it's been evaporating, if it's been cut...
