Warm white is 2700k. The closest thing to soft white that I've heard is cool white and it's 4100k. With three CFL's a good combo would be two, 6500k, and one 2700k. Keep them about six to nine inches above your plants until they've established their roots and you'll be bumping.

I used four inch pots and it took about a cup of water to drench them. I also like using the pots that have the bottom watering spouts. You can fill the reservoir and it will wick the fluids up through the bottom. I still water from the top, but I leave the water in the reservoir for a few hours...

I just put ice water into a spray bottle and hit the little bastads with that. Kills them on contact. I've seen a couple, but I do that and they're manageable.

I had to change the settings on the My Roll It Up box at the top. Go under General settings and disable enhanced attachments. That worked for me.

I'm sure he knew what you meant by flush. Adding fine dolomite lime will balance your PH, but even that takes time.
