They work great for seedlings, clones, vegging. I have'nt hit the flower yet but will post pics as it progresses.

I have CFL's now and they're working fine. The drawback in them that I see is the built in ballast. Once the bulb is gone so is the ballast. I'm going T5's in the future but for now...

Seedlings don't need alot to start out with. I have a 125 watt dual spectrum CFL set a foot above mine. She's doing great.

This is three days old

I soak my seeds for about eighteen hours. The shell just cracks and you see alittle white. I plant the seed about half an inch. I do sprinkle alittle water over the top to settle the soil. I'm using RO soil and it's comparable to FF and it has'nt been too hot for mine. Water it when it needs it...
