    canopy management

I agree that you should create a little distance b/t each plant…..you’re gonna need it. And raise the net just a bit. Once you flip that entire area is gonna be full and wall to wall. It may cause a lack of space for your fan and whatever else you have in the tent, but you’ll get so much...

    Brownish pistols

It’s probably just genetics…..pistils can turn color for lots of reasons. It doesn’t look ready to the naked eye, as the calyces don’t appear swollen. Usually if a plant is pollinated, the tips of the pistils will turn brown but not the entire pistil. When did u get the plant? I’m...

    New To Growing Marijuana

I’ll give u some advice that I wish I’d been given years ago. First of all, it doesn’t take nearly as much as most people think to grow a healthy vibrant plant. You DO NOT need 14 different bottles of this that……furthermore, the more variables you introduce, the greater the chance of failure...

    How far along

You might be halfway through the flowering cycle, but maybe not even. Keep her fed, boost the P & K levels and check back in a month. You should be getting close by then.

    What’s your fastest photo finish??

Unfortunately I didn’t clone it. Too bad, cause it’s got a lot of great traits…..even smaller details, like huge trich heads and a smell that’s really coming on strong. She’s all but stopped drinking any water….. So I’m gonna probably take her down Friday.

    What’s your fastest photo finish??

I’d like to know if others have had a photoperiod plant finish extremely fast. I’m growing a seed that was from a self pollinated clone….strain is white truffle x okie. The clone finished at around day 70 of 12/12. Out of roughly 5oz of dried bud, I found 8-10 seeds. I grew one of them a year...

    Top dressing my raised bed

Man your plants are cruising along. I have a brother in law that grows a few every yr outside. He gives them next to nothing for food….just drops them in the ground. In early flower he will top dress with seabird guana, which is all phosphorus. I’ve told him 1000 times to also add some...

    How these looking

Your plants are healthy and look great. They can certainly endure more defoliation….,my question is why? I would take off any big fans that might be blocking lower sites. The only other reason would be to increase airflow. You’re fine to do it, just don’t get too scissor happy and take too...

    Top dressing my raised bed

Your plants look great…..they are clearly getting everything they need. I use Gaia Green and have for a long time. Those larger plants have some big root systems that stretch way out. I would spread Gaia Green evenly in a circle about 18-20” around the base of the plant…..then water it in...

Never had buds look like this so early…

Thanks man…..I think I get it. This plant looks and smells exactly like the clone and the other s1 I grew last yr. It’s crazy though….i looked hard at the trichs today and there are def way more cloudy ones than clears. I even spotted a few ambers on a few spots. They’re still not quite...

Never had buds look like this so early…

I’m sorry I know very little about the genetics….not even sure about most of the vernacular. Is the term for a self pollinated clone seed S1? Whats an F2?

Never had buds look like this so early…

Since it was a seed from a clone that wasn’t fast finishing, how can this pheno be different ?? I grew the actual clone about 2 yrs ago and it self pollinated and produced just a few seeds (like 8 or 9) out of 5 oz of dried buds. More recently, I grew another one of those same seeds and it...

Never had buds look like this so early…

They’re solid…..just small. The trichs don’t say they’re ready, but they look further along than day 40. I’m gonna let her go a few weeks regardless……unless the trichs really start going amber. It’s the pistils that confuse me……I can’t find one that hasn’t turned brown already.

    Quick question

I’ll echo the previous post about burping. The hygro can read 62% and U can still have problems. When u first seal up the buds, the moisture will begin to redistribute from the inside to the outside. This is called sweating….and it needs to happen. Quick frequent burps are not the...

Never had buds look like this so early…

Ha….it’s funny u mention a clone. This plant was a seed from a clone that somehow produced like 8 seeds…..I guess stress caused it to do so. I grew another one of the 8 seeds not long ago and it was harvested on day 72 I think. I’m hoping they keep on trucking and fatten up some. The...

Never had buds look like this so early…

So I have a white truffle x Okie, photoperiod, Indoor and grown from seed. She has been through a lot but was flipped to 12/12 on July 22 and started showing pistils within a few days. My math says she’s at day 40 of 12/12. The buds are still relatively small but about right for this strain...

    Help? What is this?

U may have to dose them again with Dr Z……a lot of issues require multiple doses to fully resolve.

    Light stress or normal

Your light should have a chart somewhere (owner’s manual, website) that shows its coverage readings at various distances from the canopy. This info can tell u how much intensity your plants are receiving, which is measured in PPFD. Based on the lights I’ve seen, I doubt your plants are...

    Bruce Bugbee says

Growers would be amazed at how little it takes to grow a healthy vibrant plant. Unless you’re a horticulturist, the more products you use the worse the grow will end up.
