    f$%k ,f$%k. spider mites

Definitely DO NOT buy this stuff….. I sprayed it on an outdoor vegging plant one evening right at dark. Over the next few days many of the leaf edges turned completely black and crispy. I bought this bottle at Lowe’s out of convenience because I ran out of Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I...

Def don’t remove…..they should revert back based on all of my research. I’m having the same problem. Whats crazy is last yr my bro in law set a good size plant outside too early……I know it was some time in April. It started flowering and stretching like crazy, never reverted back and ended...

    Help!!!….outdoor plant flowering too early…

Latitude is 37.2710 N….. I should have known better…. Last yr my brother in law set a plant out in mid April. It immediately started flowering…..to which I told him it would likely revert back to veg after a bit. Well damned if it didn’t continue to flower and grew like it was on steroids...

    Help!!!….outdoor plant flowering too early…

So I know what I’ve done……I set a photoperiod plant outside too early in the grow season and damned if it hasn’t started flowering. My question is, what do I do about it?? My indoor grow space became over overcrowded, so I set this small plant outside with the plan to bring it back in to...

What is your average veg time?

My last 3 runs have been almost identical…..in terms of time and yield. I run 3 plants in a 2’x6’ space with 2 HLG r-spec LED’s totaling 470W, although I veg at much lower intensity and most of flower is less than full power. Medium is KokoBop amended w/ extra perlite, EWC, myco, basalt...

My first post! Here are some pics of my newest hunt keeper!

Very nice…..and it never surprises me when I see this plant grow with a minimal amount of inputs. It requires a lot less than most know. Did u grow it from seed? If so, where’d u get it?? I don’t mind being called a copycat….lol.

HELP leaves look droopy to me HELP

How far is your light above the canopy?? Too much light intensity can trigger the leaves to droop……plus the heat from a HPS is more significant, so that’s a factor as well. Lowering the intensity might help…..

    Finishes When Done?

Now she’s looking close to ripe….if 99% of the white pistils have turned brown/orange and are shriveling back Into the calyx, you’re in a decent harvest window.

Why? The sick plant is producing the most trichomes

The RH is low but at the end of flower it’s fine….id lower my temps to 76/77f w/ humidity that low. High heat + low RH means the plant will feed faster…..so don’t overdo it. VPD is a good benchmark but in late flower I’d prefer lower RH to mitigate other problems like mold/mildew/rot.

If the medium has food in it, should I feed lightly every watering or every other watering?

It usually takes about 3 weeks from germination to go into 1 gal pots. Then 3 weeks to get to 5 gal…..then maybe another 3 weeks and flip. I use 2 different LED’s, both are HLG….a 320w and a 150w. I can’t say enough about HLG….i have friends using a variety of diff brands and the results...

If the medium has food in it, should I feed lightly every watering or every other watering?

Too funny….i forgot to mention that I add about 2ml of cal mag per gal of tap water…..my tap is decent for city water….PPM of about 144, but PH is over 8.0. So I use some fox farm organic PH down to lower it before watering. Knock on wood, but I rarely have problems. I’m ready to flip my...

Weed Porn-Lets see your current grow

A Grandi Guava and a Fruity Pebbles OG ready for the flip. I always veg too long and end up crowded…..and it’s happened again. Should have a sea of tops…..

    Little update and questions.

Looking pretty good. Taking those crispy leaves off the bottom won’t hurt a thing…..leaving them won’t hurt things either. I don’t know how long u plan on vegging them, but I would top them and gently start training them….opening the plant up in an effort to get an even canopy. Lots of folks...

    Going BIG outdoor

Go for it man…..I love to see an ambitious outdoor grow. It brings back memories of when my buddy and I grew in college. That was 1989 and overall we got a helluva lot luckier than we could have ever hoped for. We grew for 9 or 10 yrs before going on a long hiatus. Lots of variables...

    Leaf temperature.

I sometimes get as much as a 5 degree difference…..and sometimes it’s only 1 or 2 degrees. It’s hard to get a consistent RH evenly distributed in a specific space. When it’s 60% at my canopy, it can easily be 70-72% at the base of the plant….which is about 2 ft lower. I used to obsess...

    Ready for harvest? First grow

You’re getting there……patience is key here and will be rewarded. The main thing I look for in these situations is how is the general health of the plant. In your case, the plant looks to be in good shape from what I can see. It’s normal for some of the fans to start fading out as it gets late...

If the medium has food in it, should I feed lightly every watering or every other watering?

I guess it depends on how far you’re wanting to go in terms of a recipe from scratch. I would say my approach is not on the extreme end of things. I’ve used totally inert mediums and they require the grower to provide everything, at the proper levels. This approach may require more trial...
