i got ahold of the citizen gen 8 chips, which looked good on paper they still werent close to the luminus (disclaimer: these are 1212s, 1818s would be a more fair fight but i would expect the same 2-3% increase in an 1818 gen 6>gen 8, which would still be less efficient (and more expensive)...
