    What did you amendment with?

    Cooking soil before testing?

You are correct and I'm not disputing that. But is he making 300 gallons of super soil? If yes, then he needs to let it cook and fill only 1/3-1/2 of his pots with it and the rest with a filler. If no, then if he lets it cook to long it'll be super soil.

    Official Gaia Green Grow Method

I love this thread. I'm in the states and I only use Dr. Earth's Tomato blend and Flower girl. I do use additives for Bio-stimulants but mainly I just top dress every 3 weeks. I use to grow in small pots 1gal for Veg and 3 for flower but now I'm in No-Till beds for flower and I use slightly...

    Cooking soil before testing?

Right but since he didn't say what his amendment mix was I wasn't going to jump the gun. I personally use Dr. Earth dry amendments with organic bio-stimulants and Veg and Bloom microbes from Raw Nutrients. So I cooked my soil in the beds for 2 weeks after I mixed it up but it was mainly for the...

    My first soil test results

Amino acids bonds to Calcium and is absorbed into the plant. Youtube NPK university with the guy Harvey. The episode I'm talking about is the one about bio-stimulants

    Cooking soil before testing?

Well, you are right in a sense. If he uses his soil then it'll be to hot to plant into. Most super soil needs a buffer zone so over time your plants can grow into. So if he mixed 300 gallons then after it cooks it could be 300 gals of hot soil and he would needs more soil to use for a buffers...

Vermicomposters Unite! Official Worm Farmers Thread

Vermicomposters Unite! Official Worm Farmers Thread

I am about to try an experiment lol. I'm in a 3x3 with a 3x3 No-Till bed. I just finished my first cycle with No-Till and it went beautiful. I had a learning curve with my LED's but that was a different animal. But anyways, I just bought a pound of red wigglers to split between 3 beds. All my...

    Cooking soil before testing?

If you get it tested now it will tell you what's available at that moment just like if you let it cook then get tested. The difference is with cooking your letting the microbiology build and start the natural cycle. In agriculture normally the test is done before planting, only in a new field...

    Clover topping?

Are you doing a No-Till in a sense?

    Clover topping?

Natural worm castings have low fertilizer number

    Clover topping?

It depends on the size of the containers. I think in a traditional pot nooo, its not enough room. In a bed, it works depending on plant count and spacing. Companion plants take up real estate. Outdoors,in beds, or 100 gal or bigger with spacing it would work.

Not knowing what's going on here

Cheap the strength of your teas. It's too early for them to be fading out. Looking at the dead leaves it's taking the nutrition from the lower for the top. Are you only using tea's and water?

Dr Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 --- Experiences / Opinions wanted

I know this is old but Dr. Earth is the shit! I only use it and I order directly from the company website. I veg with the tomato blend fertilizer and flower girl during flower. I use to grow in pots. 3 gal indoors and 35 outside. But I always make soil from scratch and re-used my soil. I amend...

East Coast Gen simple, cheap, No-Till Theory

So before I start to drop plants into the bed. I'm going to start adding the next phase of elements. I ordered a pound of red wigglers for my beds. I will try to split them up evenly as best as possible. Then I had a slight spider mites outbreak. Sunday I sprayed every plant and the beds with...

East Coast Gen simple, cheap, No-Till Theory

I personally think that the first round or two it wouldn't matter since your trying to build a diverse soil and getting nutrients into your soil but after that I fell like it should be talored accordingly. Since you have the same ideas as me you should focus on nitrogen fixer less than the...

Help me pick an LED for a 3x3 perpetual

I personally have the QB 96 ELITE V2 paired with a 240-54A driver in a 3x3. I personally can't run them at full tilt boogie. When all they way up, I tend to have more problems. I just finished my third grow with them. One thing I can say about the QB 96's is that most of the people commenting...

East Coast Gen simple, cheap, No-Till Theory

This is the first cover crop. I wouldn't use a mix with peas in it again. The vines from the peas wrap into the buds. It also pulled down on my plant while they filling it and and made quite a few lean. I just won't do it again. I need to find a mix without clover and I'll be set but overall...
