    Seems too dry

This is where I believe a moisture meter comes in super hand . Because with it you can check the stem before the bud . It should read 13-14% from what I understand and the bud 12% . But it can be tricky getting a good reading from the bud . The larger the stem , the longer it will take to dry ...

    Hay smell on bud

How essential is a fan in the drying room ? Is it to prevent mold mainly ? I know it circulates air , but If u didn't use one and the crop dries without , it should be all good ?

    Hay smell on bud

Hi guys, so it's been 5 days now since I chopped my 2 autos . They've been drying at 60/60% and for some reason the dry room and all the bud smells like pure hay . Is this normal? This is my first time so I don't know what to expect . I understand the smell should come back during curing ?

How many days drying for this ?

Not necessarily . The moisture reads the amount of moisture inside the bud . The resin and how sticky is more so the oils in the trichomes of the bud . Not so related to the moisture within the bud

How many days drying for this ?

So would u say dry to 12% or 15% with the meter ? If u dry to 12% will they regain moisture during curing?

How many days drying for this ?

I've heard 12% as well But oddly enough cured buds with a 62% humidity pack in there with them test at 15.8% .
