I want to try and build a homemade carbon filter using high cfm computer fans. I've seen them online that push over 200cfms and I wondering if that would be enough for a smaller filter. I'm figuring that instead of activated carbon I could use replacement carbon filters that are sheet like these...

I was just curious if anyone had played around with lowering the intensity of the light during late bloom, early ripening stage. What's the intensity would you use? and how about the effect?

My idea is a lexan or acrylic box, with fluorescents (4x4') on all six surfaces, outside of the grow area, with the outside framework made of probably luan wood painted flat white to act as reflectors. Would this be too much light? Would it promote decent growth? Would running a small pilot...

@StareCase Do you have standard? For example, How many watt lights you think would be suite for 2x2 ft grow tent? And do you use test instrument to test LUX/PPFD?

There are a lot of seasoned veterans here. Do you keeps track of how many grows you have done? I have 6, working on the 7th one right now. Just want to see how low I am on the totem poles. Besides, this area is never being used so I figured I'd pop the question here. And please don't be shy. ;)

How do u measure your lites, how do you get it at least what your plants need at any given phase. New grower here go easy Lol :)
