I use tap water for watering my plants, but I still make tea with water from my rain barrel. I don't know how scientific it is, but I have a huge rain barrel and it's good to know the microbes won't have any chloramine or anything like that inhibiting their growth during the brewing process.

Thanks, No foliar applications, at least not intentionally, but I have to admit the blue critical hasn't grown past the top of the pot yet and it's hard not to get water on the leaves.

No Idea. I'm a fairly new grower and I've been researching about guano and compost teas with guano and I can't find any guano in any grow store in my area. The only high P organic nutrients I can find up here in my area of Canada are Gaia Green fishbone meal or their mineralized phosphate.
