I just mix it in the soil or a light topdress and castings on top of that. In a tea the rock dust can clump up. you can add pureed oats to a tea for trace minerals and to control the bacteria / fungi balance.

I use basalt rock dust and oyster shell flour. the basalt I order from rock dust local and the oyster shell flour I get at the hydro shop or nursery.
