I would put some holes in the cups and let them dry out. Get a single grow light bulb/Fluorescent to keep light on these small kids. They need lots of light 18 - 24 hours for a while until they take off. Watering is tough - has to be enough but not too much. You'll get it.

1st grow- 4th week of flower, no tomato cages or string --some branches are really sagging,using some string to tie some up . next time I will be prepared.

You don't need a filter unless you are concerned about the smell. I just blow unfiltered air outside, no neighbors:-)
