Been growing hydro for years, have never mixed concentrates and stored them but have mixed concentrates and then added water straight after with no noticeable side effects. I’ve heard a lot of things like “always add cal/mag 1st”, never mix A&B together in concentrate form”, “Allow your...

That’s ok ozy, and yes better to not post i think  Nebula haze had a grow journal on (I think) a black jack and a Wonder Woman. Both mainlined under a 600w hid. She got close to 1.5 pounds off memory. 8)

It’s great being able to inspect the roots! The thing I liked about mainlining (from what I’ve seen) is you have sog quality single colas but more of them on one plant so less plant count needed. And no scrog net to get in the way. Do you have any pics of previous mainlined grows close to...

Give praise where praise is due I say  Yea makes sense. 4 colas per sqft is roughly the spacing I’d use when scrogging. I’ve grown a lot in dwc and always looking at the roots. I found the plants with explosive white root growth generally have decent main stalks. And grow/yield bigger. I’m...

Spider mites are my worst fear haha. I got them about 4 years ago and every time I thought I had them exterminated. They’d come back twice as hard! I ended up culling my perpetual grow, bleach cleaning EVERYTHING! And using that opportunity to go for a holiday. (Wasn’t all bad I suppose!?) I’m...

Very nice ozy! Manifolding isn’t probably the only thing I haven’t tried. How old were they in the 1st pic, 1 day before flipping? Do you find the extra time manifolding beneficial as opposed to the same veg time when scrogging?

I made the mistake of using it on very young plants. Took a while to recover from the damage

Totally agree. And they do seem a bit susceptible to a lot of sprays. Unlike spider mites etc!

Wow. Haven’t heard that! Could be a black market for sure. I looked into tobacco growing a while back as most people wouldn’t even know what the plant looked like if they saw it. The curing side threw me off.

That’s what I find contradicting. If they wanted people to quit, they would just make it illegal! It’s all about the revenue my friend.

Or no fines for growing something that naturally grows wild. But I don’t think that would happen if the government could make $ on it... just like tobacco!

Just ran out of pyrethrum. I agree with you there calbrowno, it works on a lot of pests but is harsh on the plants.
