Timer failed, had 20 mins too much light in flowering...

It's all about the learning for me. Better ask and not worry I recon. You guys all know way more about this stuff :-) I'm pretty attached to these plants now, maybe sounds like hippy bs, but I'm really enjoying watching them grow and take shape. They kind of all have a different personality...

Timer failed, had 20 mins too much light in flowering...

Yeah thats solid advice. I've been doing that every day, I just overslept this once and things went wrong! It had done before but I'd hoped it was just a one off. I find these mechanical timer things a bit rubbish, think I'll have to splash out for a digital one.

    Best Green Crack variety?

That sounds nice Zipz! There's quite a few breeders out there for 'Green Crack' some with more indica in than others - humboldt, garden of green. blimburn etc. then there's all the crosses, from cookies n crack to pinapple crack. Seems a really interesting section, but I really want some...

Timer failed, had 20 mins too much light in flowering...

This is the perfect analogy! First kid totally overprotected, each consecutive child receives less and less concern, until you realise they are actually bloody tough and they can get on with it themselves. I'll try treating my babies less like babies and more like teenagers now then :-) Thanks...

Timer failed, had 20 mins too much light in flowering...

Thanks Capn! Haha thanks for the consideration, I've got a good sense of humour but no experience at growing indoors, it's been 3 months and I'd hate to fu*k it all up now with a stupid error. :-)

Timer failed, had 20 mins too much light in flowering...

Hi all, My timer failed and the plants (in 6th week of flowering) got 20 mins too much light this morning. I'm currently running 12h15 of darkness. Am I best of moving the lights on back 20 mins to compensate for today and then moving them back to normal tomorrow, or keeping the new schedule...

How can I find out about this light?!

Love it, good advice. That looks like a cheaper way to start playing with LED too. Probably don't have to wait so long to order it either. Thanks corey

How can I find out about this light?!

I have a bigger tent 4x4 for flowering currently with 600W HPS and 250W HPS, but I'm looking for a way to keep things moving along by using another space I've got (there's no way I can grow here in Winter so need to stock). Can't see that 90cm height would be enough to go into flowering...

How can I find out about this light?!

The area I have for starting veg is about 60cm x 50cm x 90cm high. so it should be sweet, just need to wait to be paid now!

How can I find out about this light?!

'Fraid I cant send it back, I don't even know where it came from! It has been passed to me via a few people :-) Super interesting reading, very keen to put together a quantum board now that you've pointed me in their direction. Maybe I'll try this one for a small veg and see how it gets on...

    Light Choice

If you have a month of flowering left, wouldn't it be a good idea to get the light asap and start using it for this crop? You've still got plenty of time for it to make a difference.

How can I find out about this light?!

Just looked up the spectrums required, and it seems red LEDs are for flowering, so I guess that I would need more blue for these to be any use as a veg light. https://news.californialightworks.com/light-spectrum-and-plant-growth/
