    Trichomes & Harvesting

You're right, there's foxtailing because it's too close to the light, it's a closet grow and I don't have more vertical space. That's why I'm confused, are they ready and look like this because they are too close to the light and hence foxtailing or do they simply need more time? I understand...

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

I ended up buying it from Tiki's. I wasn't aware of these guys, dark horses selling amazing genetics.

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

Dude that's crazy. I see it on sale in deeplyrootedseedbank and proxyseedbank. Did you get it from those? Or else?

Plant producing new white pistils at harvest

No space to move it at this point. Nutes at around 500 ppm. I hope having flushed it this late into flower will not affect the plant negatively. I fed nutes again today. I was reading about too much light, it says they continue building clusters and new pistils but it's normal bud that is...

Plant producing new white pistils at harvest

You're right, I'm aware of the light issue. Unfortunately it's a closet grow, I don't have more vertical space. I've seen plants under intense light just continuing creating clusters on top of clusters of bud and not stopping, that confuses me too.

Plant producing new white pistils at harvest

Okay I will wait 2 more weeks. I'm monitoring the trichomes with the microscope and it still has time. Another question: I noticed some slight salt buildup, so I got a bottle of florakleen and flushed it. 7 gallon pot, 2 gallons with a high dose of product, 10ml per gallon. No more salt...

Plant producing new white pistils at harvest

This is a Fast strain supposed to have 7 weeks of flowering time. This is 7 weeks and 6 days. A LOT of white pistils forming all over the plant, the pics don't make it justice. I was planning on harvesting this Friday, should I let it flower more?

Cultivation Nation 70/30 COCO with GH nutes

I got a bag of the Cultivation Nation 70/30 coco. And I got the full line of GH nutes. I've always grown in soil using this schedule: Can I just grow in coco using this same schedule? My concern is that I've seen people recommending much weaker tailor-made schedules for coco, but that was...

    COCO drip irrigation system

Thanks guys. Reading your comments I came to the conclusion that with my limited space it's better to use this cultivation nation 70/30 coco in a big 7 gallon pot and hand feed it. I imagine that it will still require much more feeding than soil, but not 3-5 times a day hopefully. Once I have a...

    COCO drip irrigation system

I'm going to do my first coco fertigation grow. I went looking for a drip irrigation system, I'm growing a single sizable plant with a 7 gal pot in a tight space. Came across a number of these: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0743F4532/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ALHMCZG7P2QCI&psc=1 They seem...

    Over water with Athena nutrients?

This guy is trying to do damage control to not sound utterly stupid. This is 100% a commercial grow. Why would anybody grow for themselves in this scale? He wants to do one grow that lasts for the next 10 years? I wonder what will happen once he decides to try growing some corn. He will start...

    PPM in flowering

Would you say that if the plant is healthy and growing well then whatever ppm is being used is good? I just don't want to waste potential bud development in case raising the ppm would grow more bud.

    PPM in flowering

I have a healthy plant, no deficiencies. Feeding at 730 ppm in early flower. Recommended ppm from what I see is much higher, above 1000. Using Gh nutes. Should I raise the ppm by 300 or not?

To defoliate or not defoliate - the eternal question

I find it impossible to reach a conclusion. We have pro growers who produce and sell industrially with hundreds of thousands of dollars invested who say defoliate for all the reasons we know about such as airflow, light penetration, more energy to bud sites etc. And then the same people but on...
