do you soak your entire pot? for my 5 gal pots, i water 2-3gals of water every week or so, they love the cycle, especially when you let them get bone dry before you water.

small update! the top left seed still hasn't popped a taproot. the one i added monday is already in the soil starting her life. i also placed a purple frosting (purple punch x chocolate frosting) into germ today. no coytledons yet, hopefully will have one or two tomorrow.
