Hey guys, i activated a brick of coco in a bucket and put a lid on it so it doesn´t get contaminated with fungi or other stuff. I did this a few weeks ago. Well tomorrow is transplant day so i opened the bucket yesterday for the first time since then and it smelled somewhere like shit or manure...

is it harmful if i dont wash it of?

does a layer of hydroton (3/4 inch) at the bottom do the trick aswell?

Hi Guys, i started my first grow 2 months ago ever since the plant looks healthy (on coco, PH ~5.9, no defficiencies, taloning, curling etc) but about 4 weeks ago at the bottom of the fabric pots as there appeared white stains and im not sure if that is mold or rest of salts. I didn't use...
