You think a white bed sheet would work?

Just to see how it looks at night. Not pitch black but dark. I read that the shortening of direct light is what triggers it not necessarily 12 hours. And days have been getting shorter since germination so that’s what I’m most confused about.

It’s one balcony in a city. Pretty dark at night but never pitch black. Nothing directly hitting it at night. Please see other thread and respond there.

Yeah there’s a whole little ecosystem out there. It doesn’t seem to bother the plants so I left it alone. If I cover it up until flowering will it revert once I start leaving it outside again? The December due date is not a big deal but don’t want to waste a ton of time if I can’t use photo...

Ok, Is there something I can use to cover it instead of bringing in? If not I’ll bring it in and act surprised when my fiancé complains of ants

Also right now sunrise is 7:17 and sunset is 6:59 getting a little shorter everyday. Isn’t that already more than 12 hrs? Or does twilight hours make it more than 12?

I’ve noticed a lot of ants in the plant so am hesitant to bring inside. Any other options?

Yeah I’ve dried some autos before and they were fine. See below. Okay thanks for the advice I will see if it flowers in the next week. If not I will chop it down and try again after the holidays or just stick to the auto seeds. Feel like this monster could produce so much more than I’m used to...

Lol I really don’t want to cut it down but it’s so big on and on a balcony and don’t want it drawing attention to my smaller autos. I have a guest coming the 21 of December that I want it to be harvested by . That sucker will be hard to hide but has so much potential! So torn what to do.

Alright so I had 3 seeds and started a second one that’s smaller on August 15 when I got concerned the first seed wasn’t flowering. Would they finish at the same time even though I started far apart from light signals since they aren’t autos?

Yeah it’s definitely not an auto but now it has me wondering if it’s even a female. If it doesn’t flower soon I will need to chop it down as I need to harvest by December 10. Would more pictures help for the sex of the plant? Everything I read about Regs was it should have flowered already...

It is outdoors. I have grown autos and this was supposed to be an auto but it is 11 weeks and not flowering so I assume it is regular photo. It is also way bigger at almost 6 feet. Is it normal to not be flowering or showing sex still?
