pH of 7.2-7.6 ... put a halt on the nutes?

pH of 7.2-7.6 ... put a halt on the nutes?

Do you have a ph meter? One that can test soil and one for water? You will need to be able to test both. Once your soil is back in the 6.0 - 6.5 range you can start feeding again. Then you can feed using half the recommended amount. If this is too alkaline or acidic, then you need to adjust your...

pH of 7.2-7.6 ... put a halt on the nutes?

Absolutely. And you’re going to keep learning every grow. Then your going to grow the same strain more than once and learn even more strain specific things. Never be afraid to ask a question. The only bad question is one you didn’t ask. Good luck with your grow. Hope you have a solid first...

pH of 7.2-7.6 ... put a halt on the nutes?

That’s good you stopped feeding already. Also the tips that are burned will stay burned, They will be like that until harvest. If you’re not seeing any new burn or any distorted new growth, that means you’re correcting the issue

pH of 7.2-7.6 ... put a halt on the nutes?

If you have brown tips you’re most likely over feeding and getting some nute burn. Leafs tend to lime or yellow up during lock out. If I’m you I’m going to water with 6.0 ph water until I get the soil ph back on track. After that go back to your feeding schedule at 1/2 strength and work back up...

    Does any body know.......?

Depends on a lot of variables. What is the average daytime and night time temps. How many hours of light will you actuall get, remember days are still getting shorter. Do farmers in the area grow anything like kales, lettuces, or other greens this time of year? Reason I ask is that you may be...

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

You’re there now brother. You could go a week to 10 days longer if you prefer more amber. Just keep a eye on them.

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

Sir, what you are describing is the correct process of flushing, the only difference is that you cut to a very low feeding level up until harvest where as I cut it a low level at 2 weeks before harvest and then completely to just water for a week but our process and reasons are essentially the...

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

Yeah what you are doing is different and does not pertain to the flush/don’t flush conversation . You’re creating a super soil, not fertilizing the plant with each watering. As long as you’re it plants are fading as they come to a close, the pant is doing the “flushing” for you (using up its...

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

I didn’t once mention taste, I was talking about health. The effect of inhaling excess nutrient compounds, which is my reasoning.

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

I’m not sure how this applies to my statement since my reason for flushing is for my personal health, but I will explain why I flush from a plant standpoint... if you start your flush at the correct time during the flowering stage, the plant should no longer be creating new growth of any sort...

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

Could be the reason you go by leather lungs? Lol but In all seriousness, to each their own. I personally flush even when growing organically simply because I believe there is no need of inhaling excess nutrient salts. Doesn’t seem like it would be good long term and I don’t want to be sorry in...

Can I get an opinion or two on these Trichomes

I would say you’re certainly in the harvesting window, just depends on your personal preference. I would go another 5-7 days for them to Amber more to about 15-20% or so, but again that me. If you’re choosing to flush and haven’t started yet, get going.

Hydrogen peroxide vs hosing pm down.

I’ve never experienced this. I also don’t understand how, at a chemistry level, h2o2 would hinder or accelerate oxidation of trichs since they aren’t water soluble, they themselves actually repell water. Also since you are only submerging the plant for a brief time (less than 5 minutes ), I...

Green Crack outdoor, rdy or not ? (fluffy buds)

Take a picture if you can. It’s possible you are just seeing ovule of the calyx which is there whether or not it’s pollinated.

Green Crack outdoor, rdy or not ? (fluffy buds)

The calyxes that didn’t get pollinated will continue to swell. The ones that did will make you seeds. Are the seeds mature yet?

Green Crack outdoor, rdy or not ? (fluffy buds)

I don’t see what your talking about in the picture myself; just see some swollen calyx. But if your sure she’s producing seeds, then there is a male somewhere close by or she threw some nanners on you.

Green Crack outdoor, rdy or not ? (fluffy buds)

No worries brother. We all want the same here; to partake in the passions of our hobby and indulge on the fruits of its labor. I’ve learned so much from asking questions and reading the other post. It’s what this place is about.
