Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

Thanks. The white spots are dusting of diatomaceous earth, nothing to worry about. During the initial transplant I gave a full covering and then each watering pushes it down. I just put in yellow sticky cards and if I notice any bugs whatsoever I'll do a total covering again. My oscillating...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

You did. You gave me perfectly good advice. You told me what to do. But you didn't tell me why. How do I know who you are without then researching whether or not you are the authority to pay attention to? The other guy told me WPM and gave me a starting point to go figure out s*** for myself...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

You were doing light touch sarcasm. I'm not the paranoid guy who pointed that out, someone else did. You have great knowledge and I thank you for that. I'm sorry I crossed your beams on a bad day. Please accept my apology for wasting your time. And that's not sarcasm, I've been in your place of...

B*******. You were merely being insulting. And I removed the pipes. I can accept being wrong. You were just being an a******.

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

Understood. As of this moment I am no longer misting plants. Before an hour ago I was way too dry. I had to balance bad choices. Kind of like life in general. But now my vaporizer is enough., My controller handles it, I can maintain 60%, yay. You can stop beating me. Oh, and now I have to...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

Nah, but he's calling for it. It won't happen. 12 years ago I wrote a closet grow article for skunk magazine which then went into reruns in "best of". And then I went dark as a felon. This asshole ain't getting to me.

Oh, and those are 7 gal bags filled to 6 gal on purpose. I like having that buffer area on the top. I put diatomaceous earth there. You have a reason for that underfill comment as well or are you going for maximum snideness? Is 6 gallons of root space not enough? Asshole.

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

I asked for specifics. He gave specifics. You asked me to go on faith. And was a sarcastic asshole in the process. I looked into his specifics, saw I was wrong, and changed course, and thanked him. And your poor little fee-fee got hurt. I'm sorry. You need it kissed all better?

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

Googling WPM (not words per minute) gave me incentive to act. Okay thank you very much. I removed the tubes and let the humidifier spray straight up. What I didn't realize before was the tubes caused a tremendous amount of condensation within them and stole vapor from me. Once they were off the...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

I understand there are times that wet leaves are bad. Simply bad. The primary time would be when a high intensity discharge light gets focused through a droplet of water and sears a hole in the leaf because it's a magnifier glass at that moment. Other times would be when excess moisture would...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

Yeah I've done that. Actually I'm probably one of the few people in this board who can talk about growing illegal mushrooms without worrying about being arrested because I was already arrested for it and served my debt to society. I'm not growing them now and I'm being perfectly legal so it is a...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

I'm not looking to combat anything, or at least I don't think so. I can direct the mist anywhere I want via the tubes. I can drop it from the ceiling or I can pop it under the lights or I could have it spray back and forth by attaching it to the fan. I don't have the option of room within room...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

I understand that. That's why I pointed out that a couple of leaves get wet (via condensation) and then it blows off almost immediately and the remainder leaves just get the cool mist. It's not constant because it goes on for 30 seconds and then gets blown off. Here let me see if I can get some...

Do leaves enjoy cool mist or am I saturating them?

I am 2 weeks past clone transplant with some very nice growth. I have an ultrasonic humidifier that is designed for a reptile tank. It's got two large tubes coming out so I can direct where the mist goes. I'm in Denver so I have to run this otherwise I'd be at 30% humidity. Right now I'm lucky...

Yellow leaves, 1 out of 6

Note: I've been proactive on this and gone and spent some money. I just figured I'd ask the experts out there before I actually applied what I just bought.

Yellow leaves, 1 out of 6

I'm not giving them any at all. The only thing I've given them so far has been the mycorrhizal when I did the initial transplant. Other than that it's just water every couple days.
