I have come to that conclusion also. All that stuff we put into the roots has to leave a good deal of residual matter. The article I posted showed a scientific basis for that. Flushing water through the roots system makes sense.
Weed can contain things like E. coli and heavy metals. I'm no expert but it seems logical that a good flush will get rid of a lot this.

I like what this guy says about autos and where they are now...and where they are going. I'm doing a photoperiod grow at the moment and it's taking forever. I'm a novice/home-grower and autos are prefect for me.
This is a Mephisto Alien vs Triangle at 70 days. A bunch of even colas with no training or topping. I grew 6 or 7 just like this and they were all identical. Each one yielded 4 oz plus of rock hard fruity nugs. The THC (according to Mephisto) was 22%. The reason so many of us geek out over...
You seem to be answering a question I wasn't asking. I'm curious (in the context of the above) what did you mean by this:

I just picked up a 5 pack of Passion Punch Auto. I'll sprout them around 12/1 when my current photo-period grow is done. Hopefully Roc Bud will be my new go-to in place of Dinafem and Mephisto.
Giddy up :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:
I'm keeping a close eye on Night Owl. I'm half tempted to pull the trigger to tell you the truth. Fall/winter is when I grow autos as I can run the lights 24/7. Can't do that in the summer because it gets too hot here. My 12 hrs off is 7am to 7pm. Given the lineage Night Owl is a no brainer.
FWIW the best auto I have gown so far was RQS Amnesia Haze. It's a minimum of 12 weeks though. Mine yielded 3 oz of hard nugs. No popcorn and minimal trimming. The effect was off the charts. I actually prefer it to their photo version.
Spanish authorities seem to be cracking down. Dinafem were raided two weeks ago and are in a legal limbo and it looks like the Mephisto guys are branching off with new branding. I wouldn't hold my breath on either of them returning to what they were. Because of this I'm done with autos for...
