ApacheTech has finally updated their website and added some new products

https://www.apachetechinc.com They have a big bar light now and some other things....just glanced at the site briefly. They used to be THE big name in grow lights....I remember when everyone wanted one...They still use a lot of fans on several models and they are HEAVY. Looks like they...

    Pix That Make You LOL-Warning-SNWS

We need Tre Parker and Matt Stone to show us how stupid we have become and what we need to do to fix things! When will the next South Park episode air? By the way, did you guys hear that Matt and Tre bought Casa Bonita and they are going to restore it to its former greatness?! I'm LOLing just...

    Think it’s ready?

I'd let them go awhile longer. The leaves still look very green.

Why you need a Grow Bags?

I may be wrong, but I think they are referring to making some type of eyelet holes built in around the upper rim of the pot to tie string to for doing LST.....right?

How Do You Sativa People Do It In A 4X4?

It's an inside joke that started here years ago....I guess it became a common phrase...everyone's plants were yielding "about a pound" whenever it came up in a discussion and so now it's a thing. :)

Horticultural Lighting Group End of Summer Grow and Show give away!

Nice offer but that wouldn't give me enough time to complete a grow. I'm running 12-15 week (flower cycle) strains. I've been looking at the Blackwing, but it would be more ideal if I had a rectangular tent. Oh, well. Maybe next time! Good luck to whoever!

Any small time grower's do you hire any security

Well, it looks like a good mower. Since you do it for a living....what's the best mower for a typical homeowner to use?

Any small time grower's do you hire any security

That lawnmower looks like it's never been used! It's like it was taken out of the box and added to the other junk more as a decoration! To be honest, when was the last time anyone (younger than a boomer) mowed their own lawn? heh heh I digress.

large yield vs frosty buds ?

I really like this comparison and I plan on using it in the future! That's a great point. I'd rather sip and savor a fine, tawny, port wine in front of a crackling fire, than I would to do tequila shots at a loud party. As far as THC goes...first, it was the medical people who jumped on it as a...

    LED recommendation for a 2x4

I grow in a square shaped tent (40" X 40") and there aren't as many light fixtures to fit that size space. There are more choices for 2 X 4 tents so I might just have to change the tent size I'm using to get the lights I want.

large yield vs frosty buds ?

Flavor...Strong smelling flowers. That's what I always look for. I don't really care about yield since I only grow 4 plants per run in a single tent with a single light fixture -and I usually end up with an excessive amount, anyway. Since I don't smoke a lot, I really just want to find one of...

Defending HPS in a LED world

I am completely going to do an "old school" grow coming up soon. MH for veg. and HPS for flower. That's the way I used to do it....It has disadvantages and advantages, but, now that I have grown with almost every other new type of light, I want to go back and compare. I actually am guessing that...

    Your latest seed purchase?

Yes! It was a bonus pack from Hazeman and it is actually Tuna Kush X Hindu Kush cross. I read a few things about the Tuna Kush and a few people did say that it had a "fishy" smell...but I can't imagine that.

    Your latest seed purchase?

Got my Chocolate Thai 12-pack in 5 days after ordering...package was discreet...So far, only good experience with DC Seed Exchange! -very nice. The Chocolate Thai seeds came with a a free pack of Tuna Kush, too! But I have no idea if Tuna Kush is special or not...sounds kinda fishy! ;) I also...

Best Chem in seed form, one can actually get??

What's the consensus on Chem 91 or strains that are using it? My experience is that the cross I grew (Chemdozer) which included Chem 91, was not very strong smelling or tasting. So, as the story goes, a few variants came from those original Grateful Dead concert bag seeds. But, which of all of...

    Who REALLY Cures PRIMO?

I've completely changed my drying/curing method, now. I used to hang my plants whole and let them dry a minimum of a week (usually). Typically, the temps were in the 60's and the RH was in the ~50% range. I would look for the stems to start bending/cracking and then trim the plants up and jar...
