    You could probably just rig up some sort of hanging system using zip ties. That light isn't going to get hot enough to do anything to them. Just get creative. You'll figure something out.

    Just switch it off when you want them to flower. Some people run the light on a timer that switches on for an hour at some point after sunset - doesn't really matter when. I set my timer to turn them on about a half hour past sunset(7 to 8p in SoCal) and stay on till like 10ish.

    You would be adding 125 watts of very inefficient heat. I'd skip it. If you feel you need extra light, get some 100 watt equivalent A19s and pop the diffusers off of them. Or get a second cheap LED.

    Because LED is more efficient than HID. It's simple math. I'm not gonna hold your hand for you. Yeah, I used HID for years. A modern 600 watt LED will stomp all over a 600 watt HID. That's just a fact.
