Would you pay $200 for these?

No. I've bought a few packs around that price range from various breeders and they weren't any better than $100 packs from various breeders. $150 is about my absolute tops for a pack of seeds.

    AK Bean Brains

Do it. The VBB is supposed to be better in crosses anyway. And a good afghan male is probably the best out crosser you can find.

lets see what reaction I get to this.....

It's the same problem that goes back to the beginning of human civilization. There's those whose problems are more immediate (most of us), and those that are hell bent to power trip their way through life. I don't think it means anything other than that's our biology and people like to gripe...

Nice choices. The VBB might be need a proper hunt through to find some gems. I'd never heard of that afghan cross, sounds real nice. Those could make excellent male plants too.

12-13 weeks. She might be able to go longer but I get tired of looking at her lol. I think that’s roughly the upper range of flowering times. 50% of the females I saw went long like that, the other 50% were more like 9-10 weeks and not outstanding imo.

Is there a size limit on photos?

Full frame camera... that's like uploading a billboard sized image. I usually resize everything to no larger than 1440 in either length or width.

That looks good to me. Nice blonde color. Do you think the yield is too low?

ok ok ok, I has a Seedling!!!!!

Looking good. At this point it doesn't need water again for at least several days. Start off just watering around the plant in about a solo cup diameter. In a couple weeks as the plant gets bigger, water more toward the edge of the pot, and less toward the middle to encourage lateral root...

    Choosing a rosin press

Retaining terps can be very hit or miss too. It's mostly strain/plant dependent. Usually at least the smell comes through, but it's less frequent that the taste does. You'll find something eventually that will dump and taste fantastic.

    Choosing a rosin press

Hmm I never checked humidity before pressing. You're talking about the material being 64% or the room? Sorry if that's a dense question but I never even thought to check/be concerned. I only press after a harvest. Once it's ready to jar, it's ready to press. Cured bud doesn't do as well for me...

    Choosing a rosin press

You're using 60 micron bags? I don't think you should go any smaller than 90 microns for flower. 60 is going to be tough to squish through and I suspect that's at least part of the reason you're experiencing blow outs.

    ** Bob Bitchen's Beans ** Community Journal **

Loving all these community journals. As soon as I get back in town I’m throwing down at least one Chernobyl fem. I really wanted to do a full pack of SSH but no space right now. A fem bean or two I can do no problemo. Can’t wait!

    Silly Newbie question

Eh, it’s not as dramatic a difference as you might think. Harvesting early doesn’t give you a sativa effect. It’s more like a racey onset. Harvesting late can make it more mellow, more couch locky. Of course it depends on strain, and harvesting early/late can effect overall potency negatively...

    Unsure

New growth is typically lighter in color like that. You’ll notice it more too when the plant is vigorously putting out new growth, like during the stretch of early flower. Their nutrient requirements do go up as they flower so keep that in mind. They are looking great btw

That might be a little deep. But they will be fine, just might take a couple days longer to break the surface. I germ in the paper towel. Plant them once they have 1/4" - 1" tails. I make a very small hole in the soil using a poker or toothpick (anything like this works). I make it about an 1"...
