FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Hey Teag, was just going through my journal and realized I forgot to reply to your comment, how rude of me! You are right, I had deficiency for sure, after I saw your comment I eventually started feeding heavier. Thanks for helping out!

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 16 This week was more flushing and waiting. I now have my hands on a magnifier so I can more closely examine trichomes to tell when it's harvest time. You'll see that in the second half of the week. Days 119-121 There isn't much to say, as I really have not done anything other than water...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 15 In week 15 I gave the final feeding, as both plants are now being flushed. The eleven roses looks to be just about ready, maybe just a few more days or a week tops. The Cotton Candy on the other hand still looks to have at least 2 weeks, with tons of long white pistils still. Days...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Thanks Arnski. You think that eleven roses (the more developed, purply buds) are ready to start their flush? or give em one more feeding?

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 14 This was a really nerve racking week for me, as I was gone 4 days and let my plants in the care of a buddy who has never grown before. I taught him how to feed and water, and knew that everything would be fine, but being this close to harvest I was still concerned something would...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 13 In week 13 I started feeding a bit heavier, particularly on the cal-mag, as I think I've been underfeeding these ladies. The buds are starting to fatten up, the smell is increasing, some of the leaves are changing colors a bit on the Eleven Roses. One thing I'm a bit concerned about...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 12 In week 12, the sugar leaves became more "sugary", the plants are smelling more, and they are continuing to fatten up. It looks like most of the vertical growth is done, as they haven't grown much taller, and it appears that now most of the energy is being spent on flowering. Days...

Powdery Mildew or frosty sugar leaves?

Thanks man, that's what I figured but the anxiety in me just had to get some other opinions :) I appreciate your feedback.

Powdery Mildew or frosty sugar leaves?

I'm in week four of flower, and I noticed my plants starting to stink significantly more, and I was excited to start to see some trich development on some of the sugar leaves the past week or so! The sugar leaves have started getting more and more frosty, to the point I'm starting to become...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 11 From what I have seen in other grows, these plants are progressing super fast and are showing impressive development for only their 3rd week of flower. The leaves are beginning to have a frosty, sugar appearance on them already, and I can see the buds growing noticeably every day...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

The exhaust fan? I have the circulation fan on 24/7. I could definitely get the exhaust fan on 24/7 too, but what effect would that have? Humidity isn't an issue at this point.

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 10 In week 10, I started to see pretty significant changes in terms of the plants height and budding site appearance. The stretch is real, as these two ladies are really pushing towards the grow light. I have no doubt I definitely grew these too big, at least the Eleven Roses. On a...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 9 This week, I made the switch from veg to flower. I dropped the photoperiod from 18/6 to 12/12, and we are officially 1 week into flower. Days 57-59 When I flipped to flower, my nutrient feeding schedule changed as well. Fox Farm's feeding schedule is super easy to use. It breaks the...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Week 8 In week 8, I think I found the remedy for my droopy leaves - Cal-Mag. I introduced this into my feeding schedule, and within 2 days my leaves had perked up like never before. Days 50-52 The specific nutrient I used was Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag. I mixed in 3mg of it with my base...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Thanks I appreciate the positivity! I do have one of those bottom vents open, but any air just comes in passively, I do not have an intake system...

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Temps between 75-83 usually. Do you think removing two of the plants and giving the two I keep more space would help with this? Because I'm giving two away today and putting my focus into just two of them. I have access to more clip ons if I need as well. I'll look into edema. Thanks.

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Hey, I do have a carbon filter/exhaust running on the same timer as my lights (18 hrs/day right now), I also have a small clip on fan blowing over the plants too. I think there's a good amount of circulation, and humidity stays between 40-50%, generaly right in the middle at 45%.

FIRST TIME GROWER: Growing from seed in my closet!

Yeah, these seeds were actually given to me from a buddy so I couldn't be too picky, but in the future it's only feminized seeds or clones :) And you are spot on with the spray bottle. I really should have stopped using it once the plants popped through the soil. That likely is why these babies...
