Seed vault jailbreak - genes gone wild

We made some change ups on the bean popping. Started a pack of Kashmir Daydream to run next to our Kashmir 91X (the artist formerly known as Kashmir Christmas) pollen chuck to see how ours compared to the main man Mr. B's version :) Not expecting a fair fight but hope to see some similarities...

Both look like you did a fine job! Which did you like best? What was your favorite Bodhi (or other) strain that you've grown?

Thanks for the heads up on that! How many Exotic beans have you popped and grown out? Which strains have you smoked?

I understand the confusion on this lol. There was a soldier from Quebec that went to Afghanistan in the 2000s and brought back seeds he got in Kashmir or from Kashmir (called Kashmir Azad - Azad is the town/village). This soldier gave the seeds to Barefrog - who is a ganja farmer in Quebec...

Speaking of the '79 Christmas Tree Bud - I've been trying to a get a picture that will show the coloring properly but haven't been successful yet. I'll get a good pic eventually. We have 2 females of these that have turned into a turquoise color (almost blue) in veg under these cheap cob leds...

Okay awesome! You picked the right ones! Sounds like you have a great setup for them to thrive and I'm looking forward to watching them grow. I have zero experience with any grokashi stuff but it seems to make sense and a lot of folks seem to be enjoying it. I'll look into it more asap...

Nice! I think the SSH itself is a huge yielder, as well as her cousin Jack Herer (I think it's silver haze & Jack Herer that are phenos both from NL5xHaze). Definitely want to hear what you think of the PW compared to the other SSH crosses. I'm a huge silver haze & Jack fan from the old school...

I think he grows so many different cultivars from his collections trips and is able to find some that do well in his garden. You ever check out his collections trip threads? Looks like he gathers 20 beans or so from each strain. I'm guessing he grows them all, makes selections and open...

Kind of depends on the strain really. I've grown a few. Kandahar Afghan, Vintage Pakistani, Kashmir Azad are all pretty easy to grow indoor. I would guess all the indica varieties aren't that hard, but you just have to worry about the stability. I've had no problems with stability though...

Good call on the diablo og. Could be that too. That Trainwreck x Kashmir looks pretty awesome - I think it was @GreenHighlander that just rocked that out on here and it looks really really nice. This is actually pretty entertaining trying to guess the parents of the Bodhi crosses lol. Would...

Citron? Is there some citrus in there? Sounds like a cool cross you tested. Never grown anything with congo in it yet, but I think a lot of folks are sleeping on the Kashmir crosses. Kash brings that super delicate floral like terps and super oily resin. I'm guessing it brings a lot of that...

Curious about the same thing. Regardless, it's always fun to guess. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Devil's Hashplant is HA OG x '88g13hp.

I'm all about the beneficial bugs and companion plants. And a greenhouse is the way to go it will change everything for you. I'm curious to see what you think of the CS compared to your old Dragon Fruit. Ever run Love Triangle? They get a strawberry/cherry flavor on top of the OG notes that...

That's pretty dang sick! You really have a talent. Please continue posting on here I'm sure you're helping some folks. 75% of the people online are usually lurkers that never post. How did that first round of Bodhi gear smoke?

Feel free to ramble on anywhere I'm okay with it. No one else but this board cares about what growers have to say anyhow lol. You might as well pop those SSDD soon! I'm sure you'll get all females this time with the odds. Usually the way it works out. No offense taken growing all that...

Wow, after looking into them just a little more, I don't think I'll ever send them a sample. Their VP of Breeding, John McFerson's LinkedIn page shows he works at Monsanto. Sounds like nothing but trouble here. Does Monsanto own Phylos? Staying as far away from Monsanto as possible.

Phylos asks you to send in a dry stem. How could they possibly use a dry stem for breeding? Is it even possible to tissue culture from a dry stem?
