    Solventless pressed rosin pros

I was going to say that it might be good to look into one of those dedicated rosin presses that are available now. There has been so much interest in rosin making over the last couple years that the tools for making it are getting more and more refined You can go into the finest recreational...

    Solventless pressed rosin pros

I use a Dake 10 ton press. They are pretty solid. I think I got mine for $375. The Low Temp Plates (with the springs) set was on sale when I got it. I think it was ~$400. I mean, there are ways to get a cheaper setup than mine. There's all kinds of Do It Yourself plates out there and Harbor...

    Solventless pressed rosin pros

"Iso" is short for isopropyl alcohol -a commonly available solvent. Yeah I don't care for iso either. I guess some people prefer it. It's easy to make. Doesn't involve much work....but it doesn't have a full-bodied taste, in my opinion. I find the same thing to be true of almost any solvent...

    Solventless pressed rosin pros

You can get a 3 X 5 Low Temp Plates setup for around ~$500 and then you will need a press....another ~$200-$400....You will need some mesh rosin bags....parchment paper... But MOST of all, if you expect any kind of quality (like your pics), then the weed itself will have to be top quality. You...

LED yield results from the rui community, Refuge from HGL threads

I understand the idea behind making a light that produces an optimal spectrum for stimulating chlorophyl production is a great idea...but I would need to find out if the increase in chlorophyl production translates to making a more potent and tasty marijuana plant. Otherwise, working in...

High Light efficiency tests (TEKNIK) - 2.47 umol/j CRI 94.2

Yep. That's absolutely right. For a SCROG or SOG type canopy, you want that wide, even dispersion of the photons...but if you're only growing one lollipop plant then maybe a Kessil light would suffice.

High Light efficiency tests (TEKNIK) - 2.47 umol/j CRI 94.2

@Greengenes707 Pacific Light Concepts? I see the concepts....Where are the lights? Your website is shit, man. I understand that you don't have time for working on those unimportant, inconsequential things, though....because you're here....arguing with someone.....again.

HLG vs HGL Side By Side Take 2

I think it's fine to get a higher yield if that's the goal. But sometimes I find myself getting wrapped up in the numbers and efficiencies, only, and I might forget that what I need from a light might be something different for someone else. Like yield....Regardless of the exact weight that my...

    Everything MMA Thread

Yeah. If it was a boxing match then Rose would have won, but unfortunately everyone knew that Andrade likes to slam opponents with that "unnatural" strength of hers....and that's exactly what happened.

HLG vs HGL Side By Side Take 2

@hybridway2 If the light is enhanced especially for plant growth, then that's all good, too -as long as the plants which are grown under that spectrum have been allowed to reproduce under it for at least one generation. Most commercial seed stock that people can buy, have been grown under HID...

I feel sad to hear this and I feel sad for my Mom and all the people from her era that loved the Carol Burnett Show. Those people were like my folks' TV-time friends and we would all sit and watch them on our old Curtis Mathis console television...together. Rest In Peace

HLG vs HGL Side By Side Take 2

That's a valid point, but it still means there are moving parts that are going to wear out eventually -which seems like more of a liability than is necessary. Which brings me to yet another question...User-serviceability/ If a fan were to break down and needed to be replaced, then could I just...

HLG vs HGL Side By Side Take 2

That's 15 watts per light fixture....correct? So, 60 watts going to cooling for 4 HGL fixtures compared to 0 watts going to cooling for the HLG Trinity? @hybridway2 Yes, I agree....I don't think this contest is going to produce vastly different plant-growth results between the two...
