This finished room I'm using (9x9) is on my 3rd floor by the attic. Separate window unit for AC and plus hooking up a 4" ducting to my central AC vent which goes to this 3rd floor. No other rooms, etc are on this floor. It's that small room and then the stairs to my office next to our bedroom on...

Haven't decided yet - was going to build the rdwc setup first to get all the kinks worked out with potential leaks, flow, temps, etc. Was worrying about the ducting, Carbon filter, fan, etc after the fact. What size would you suggest? Maybe a 6" inline?

That fan turns on and will keep the exhaust from entering back in the attic. So if the humidity is let's say..... 70-80% in the attic itself, how detrimental will that be for my grow? My tent will most likely be about 18 feet away from that room exhaust.

Ambient Humidity reading from our Nest Learning Thermometer is 52% I plan on cutting a hole through that door to the attic and exhausting through the vent fan in the attic to outside of the house.

I lived up in Alaska for almost 8 years - but I'm from the south... I hate the heat, it gets unbearable where I live.

I was worried for my overall temps as right now it's 91 degrees outside (overcast) with 95% humidity.... It's no where near the hottest it's going to get all summer

Tested the air flow and temps upstairs before I buy all of my equipment - Was running the room about 68 degrees. Take into account this room is on the 3rd floor, it's a finished room next to the attic. But installed a separate window unit to cool it down and then I'm going to use the central AC...

@Airwalker16 what's the piece going to be called to connect from the 3/4" PVC manifold - needs to tee off into 1/2". Where do I find or what's the technical term for the reducer tee. So like 1/2" x 1/2" x 3/4", or am I completely incorrect on this? So the 1/2" is going to be black vinyl tubing...

Hell Yeah! Was just putting together my shopping list right now - will go ahead and add that. I'm sure I'm going to have a few more questions after my first trip to Lowe's / Home Depot / Local PVC Store for Bulkheads and other things.

My final build image (I'm pretty sure) - going to grab stuff starting Friday!!!! So excited :) I understand I shouldn't be bugging on the finer details as of yet lol, but I want a solid structure on what to buy - so I'm not going to Lowe's, Home Depot, or the local plumbing supply 15 times in a...

As in the 3/4" tubing that creates the manifold etc. I understand that it branches off for the waterfalls to 1/2" tubing

Would you recommend the waterfalls in PVC or the 3/4" tubing

Okay, I'll look into creating an X in the tent then. Back to the original build

Yellow is the holes, 3/4" PVC all the way around - then use 3/4" tubing to connect to pump

So what if I were to do a pvc manifold all the way around each tote itself (at the top)? -- instead of the 3/4" tubing? No sprinklers or sub pump - inline from res, drill holes all around the manifold - connect them all.

So how would this work then? Trying to do it that way through the one vent. I'm trying to conserve space here, but if you truly think that cutting it through the side of the tent is the best way, I'll listen.
