Mother Nature helping with insect control...

I've been anxious about bug control during flower. I didn't want to spray anything on my plants, and I didn't have a insect infestation... just a few buggers here and there. Lucky for me- mother nature intervened and sent some help!

    Started to manifold my auto...

I really think I should have waited another week or two... So I agree it was early but I feel like it was still within the window. Idk though. I had about 10% amber trichs and swollen calyxes. Attached picture is from about a week before harvest

I mean, considering that I planted her late June, mistakenly started to manifold and subsequently seriously defoliated, she made amazing progress. Just look at the August 7th photograph versus September 19th, combined with my post harvest photos... I'm thinking at least two ounces off of a two...

I caved to my impatience and harvested today. I did a bud wash and hung this bad girl up to dry.

I haven't heard of it. I'll check it out for next year. Finding a good insecticide spray for flower has been my biggest worry this year. My two big girls have been pretty bug free, but this auto was a struggle. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out for sure!

We're all here to learn and share our experiences. That's all. If you can give input, I'm open to it. That's why I started this thread.

I took the fan leaves off because, like I said, I'm making harvest easier on myself. Sure, I understand that they are what the plant uses to soak up light, but I decided to take the fans off now. I don't think it's detrimental, particularly considering that a lot of people defoliate completely...

Why what? Why harvest in two weeks? Because I think she'll be ready. Why take all the fan leaves off? To make harvesting easier. Why blackstrap molasses? Because it's been used for a long time in agriculture because of the nutrients it adds and (it's been said) it helps bud flavor.

I'm guessing two weeks. Trichs are 95% cloudy with a sprinkling of Amber right now

I'm going to harvest this chick soon. So today I took all her fan leaves and started feeding blackstrap molasses.

    Stalk split during bad storm...

Funny you say that. Today she's suddenly sparking with trichomes. She had zero visible yesterday.

    Stalk split during bad storm...

Well, these leaves look like they're going to be turning yellow next. Ill just leave her be and see how it goes.

    Stalk split during bad storm...

We were hit by a bad storm last week while I was at work. I came home to see my banana kush split in half. I taped up the stem with duct tape, but now that some leaves are starting to turn light green, I'm guessing the split was fatal. She's nowhere near harvest ready. Do I cut now and make...

Auto update pic. The leaves are looking shitty... Looks like bug damage, but I see no bugs. I'm hesitant to spray anything on her at this point.

    Havin a nightmare any ideas

Now that they're in flower, I'm trying not to use neem or anything else. I was spraying consistently (once a week) during stretch, but it wasn't helping. I think I maybe wasn't through enough with the spray tbh

    Havin a nightmare any ideas

One of my plants had similar issues. Neem didn't help, dishsoap/water spray didn't help.... I looked all over and saw no bugs. Until one day I finally found the culprit. A brown leaf-hopper. I pulled him off by hand, and my plant started looking much better in just a few days. One damn bug!
