    Tiny holes on new growth

What is your opinion on dusting with bonide eight? I just bought some (i live in a rural area and options were limited... I don't want to drive an hour or wait a week for something to be shipped) and dusted my plant. Now I'm worried I should have held out and just ordered been oil.

    Tiny holes on new growth

I just noticed one of the older leaves has similar spotting but no actual holes.

    Tiny holes on new growth

Yeah I checked with a loupe, under leaves and everything

    Tiny holes on new growth

I'm tempted to spray for bugs "just in case", but I don't want to if it's not needed.

    Tiny holes on new growth

One of my plants has these tiny holes on the new growth. I see no bugs (used my loupe to look closely). None of my other plants are doing this. I suspect the holes might have happened because I misted the plants on a very hot day, and the water droplets plus sun damaged the delicate new...

over water? or not enough air flow

Oh they will be fine for sure, then! They stretch like that to reach for the light... My first grow was total half-ass and my seedlings were super stretched... In the end, I got a few ounces of good (but fluffy) bud and a lot of lessons leaned the hard way. No regrets lol

    Is there time to rebound?

    Awesome, thank you.

    Is there time to rebound?

I just transplanted mine into bugger pots with fresh soil (just regular container potting soil with an npk something like .05-.01-.01 which seemed almost insignificant in my mind, but the soil looks great, rich but not heavy. I added maybe 15% pearlite which also seems insignificant. Anyway my...

    Is there time to rebound?

Why do you advise going light on nutes? I ask because I'm in a similar situation. Tia

over water? or not enough air flow

More light for sure. When you transplant them, you can plant them a little deep, it'll help avoid the stem being too weak as it grows. Edit to add: sorry, I just realized I repeated the other guys opinion. Sorry to be redundant!

    pre-moisten before upping containers ?

Let her dry out a bit before you move her. Then once she's in her bigger pot, saturate the soil well. She might look a little limp after transplanting, particularly if any roots are damaged. She'll bounce back though!

    Topping and defoiliation

As a new grower, everyone I talk to gives me "tips", and everyone says they trim back THE MAJORITY of their fan leaves during veg. This seems ludicrous to me, but I don't know if there's something to it. Exposing light to buds is fine... I get that. And you don't want it too bushy because of...

What's the most important thing you've leaned through trial and error?

Perfecting it? That's my nagging worry. I have only done outdoor grows, and I worry my knack of overlooking details is going to be a challenge when I move things inside.

You should have mastered that well before now bro!

What's the most important thing you've leaned through trial and error?

I ask this because growing is a fun way to experiment. On my first grow, I convinced myself that measuring pH wasn't "that important". on my second grow, I did decide to adjust pH, thinking I could "prove it isn't that important", and I admit... I was wrong (lol obv). My plants are growing...

    Small roots?

My mistake was leaving them out in the rain, thinking "a little rain won't hurt", but after four days of rain.... Well it hurts. I've been more careful since, but I still believe it affected the plants. I use root stimulator when cloning, but can it be used now? Would I be better off just...

    Small roots?

I just transplanted into a larger container and was surprised at the tiny roots. It suffered a lot of water logged soil a few weeks back, and I worry that all the water stunted root growth. Is there anything to be done at this point to encourage root growth? Or just not worry since the plant...

    Galvanized tubs for water storage?

I've been told to let my water sit out for 24 hours prior to watering my plants. That way the chlorine in the tap water can evaporate. If I use a galvanized tub, will anything leech into the water that might harm plants?
