Please tell me if Solis Tek or Nanolux is an American company? Where are their lights made, in USA? I appreciate your comments, but please be polite and show us your comments based on facts. OK?

Besides the PPF, you have to consider spectral power distribution. Again, we talk about the lights in term of growing, not just the numbers. Many of our customers say our 315W CMH can replace 600W HPS, they only mean the quality and yield, not the PAR number they get from the par/quantum meter...

My customer uses the knob dimming (max 400W) in his 4x4 tent. Please see photos. 1 630 or 2 315 for 4x8 is a little weak, 2 630 will give best yield with high quality. "Equivalent" means in growing, not in heat production.

Less than 240Hz.

3 630s are equivalent to about 3600W of HPS. Our hood is 21"Lx21"Wx5"H.

Each 630W will generate about 1800 BTU.

3 315s (ideally the knob dimming one) are OK. But the tent is 4x8, it's harder to install 3 315s than 2 630 DEs to get even light spread.

I didn't measure the temperature of the hood when the light works. No one should touch the hood, right? There is no any issues with having cool air blown directly on the fixture. Why do you want to do that?

Based on your tent size, I recommend 2 630W DE CMH lights.

Our lights are manufactured in China and our company is in USA. Sorry we can not disclose the manufacturer's info, like Philips doesn't tell you who manufactures bulb for them.
