I have seen healthy vibrant plants that want a lot of root space act like that when roots get restricted or too much water. It is getting plenty of nitrogen.
it was actually an OK amount by the State Regulations - they allow for 200 ppb or .2 ppm. any organic fertilizer from the sea has a lot of arsenic in it. Dolomite lime, fishbone meal, kelp all can contribute to arsenic in your buds.
logic tells me that if the room is at 45% - enclosing it in any space would always be higher as the plant is releasing moisture. just hang it in the room.
What is the RH naturally - outside the room. 71% would be a stifling humid day.
Not sure why you would put them in such a tight space to dry? That is just like putting them in a jar but much larger
That cabinet would be ok if you could control the air - if you cannot then it's a big jar.
After reviewing the grow logs - I suspect that it was possibly bark mulch that was mixed into the soil for that crop. We will be testing that bulk mulch at U Penn for $24.
We need to look at everything including double checking the lab that tested. This was an absurd amount of Arsenic and we used less than half what their Cannabis schedule recommended.
Not fair for us to jump at the fertilizer
I shut down my HPS - it worked well, but I hated the heat, buying expensive bulbs.
Look at that chart - Holy wasted money batman. These companies are screwing us bad. Should not need to pay over $1/watt
No not yet. I would check to make sure they are getting 12 hours of dark. and the soil dies between watering. Are they Autos?
I find that in the final three weeks of flower a lot of the bulk comes from within the bud and is a bit harder to see the progress. You will notice the stems/plant is...
Only humans could think they can get a plant to produce more by removing its food source.
If you think you have great buds after exfoliation - you should have seen what you would have had if you left the plant alone.
I find the best buds are those that use the nitrogen stored in the sugar...
With all the marketing and lies on LED - I try not to pay anymore than 1$ per watt of LED
right now I use a 300w LED full spectrum with some far red - that cost $260. And they are dimmable.
I am seeing that these are as good or better than California Lightworks - with the exception of heat...
Far red light - I have found you do not need them on any longer than 30 minutes at the beginning/end of day. They will allow sativa plants to finish a week sooner and bulkier buds.
For strains that already have hard tight nugs - why bother.
