    Curing is overrated

To those who don't understand what a cure does. Go try and win a cannibus cup without a cure on your smoke, lol... I dare ya!

    Curing is overrated

This article explains that degradation of chlorophyll, sugars ect... essentially beginning the job a cure process does during the last couple weeks of flwr makes better smoke and white ash.

    Curing is overrated

    Here's another opinion.. https://www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com/article/white-ash-vs-black-ash/

    Curing is overrated

A darker ash can be observed in flower that is high in residual salts, sugars, chlorophyll and other unwanted impurities in a truly top shelf smoke. More prevelent in a growing style that consists highly of bottle nutes and improper flush and/or a natural senescence is not achieved.

    Curing is overrated

I've experienced both scenarios actually.... I've harvested and dried stuff (I slow hang dry in 50% ish RH @74F) That tasted AMAZING, blew my mind because I believe in a cure process normally. And then I've had stuff that tasted like burnt rubber until it cured for 3 weeks...then it was sticky...

    Low soil ph

You are describing possible nute lock out (due to pH in soil) or cal mag deficiency is what it sounds like to me. Based on the pH readings you get I would lean more towards ph lockout. It's possible the microbial colony in your soil has been shocked a bit from eradic pH and/or drying out to...

    Low soil ph

How do your plants look? Are they telling you they don't like it?

    Low soil ph

OK, if you're in plastic pots at 38 days it's safe to pull one out (GENTLY, stop if it's a struggle or root all falls apart easily) of the pot to examine root ball... When having deficiency its nice to be able to just take a quick peek at the roots. Might identify things like root rot, mildew...

    Humidity/humidity dome question

Yea, I agree with you. I use this method with my clones... I graduate them slowly to the hard air outside the dome. Your reasoning sounds plausible to me. My clones stay in dome for 10 to 20 days depending on what they say to me..

    Low soil ph

Repot them into a 3gal or 5gal....you may be root bound. How old are they? Ocean Forrest should carry you for a while. Has the soil been re-use? What nutes are you running through it?

    Humidity/humidity dome question

I use a solo cup with moistened soil and a baggie over the top to sprout them. Once sprouted I remove baggie.... From there I mist them for the first week or two a few times a day... Seem to respond well to foliar once a week. My Temps for them run between 75 and 77 in the 50's rh I run them...

What light should I get for 4x4 area

Thx! I stared at these lights and about a hundred others before finally pulling the trigger on them. Best bang for buck I could find. They work for veg and flwr on my photos and my autos love them in the 18-6 veg room! They have the bloom enhancer reds that make them work well for flower. I've...

Roots Organic Nutrient Line. pH is 4.0...Feed? Raise pH? Opinions!

Yes, thankyou deristotle. This I believe is the beauty of organics. Also a great indicator your doing it right as in the microbial colony is alive and doing its job in your soil. The microbes will buffer (for lack of better term) the application and convert it to a more workable ph level. This...

Roots Organic Nutrient Line. pH is 4.0...Feed? Raise pH? Opinions!

Thank you cfarm420, What I've done with success (thus far, still an experiment) is as follows... I'm in 5 gal fabric pots, my girls take liquids about twice a week (7 days). One feeding a week I follow the schedule from roots organics using the products I've chosen (budda grow, bloom, trinity...

Roots Organic Nutrient Line. pH is 4.0...Feed? Raise pH? Opinions!

Cfarm420- thanks for the reply on this, I wondered if my question would just got to the wind as old as this thread was, lol. This was also my first instinct as it's always a golden rule of thumb due to nutrition uptake issues to correctly pH EVERYTHING that goes in and I understand why...

Roots Organic Nutrient Line. pH is 4.0...Feed? Raise pH? Opinions!

Old thread, but having same experience.... I use roots organics everything I.e. Soil, grow, bloom, teas... Ect. At first I just used teas (terp tea bloom and veg) didn't have pH problems. Now I've brought in Buddha grow, bloom, trinity, and surge and have the pH drop to the 4's. I've tried...
