Use of lime, and how long it takes to correct pH?

Those pellets are not good IMO. More like slow release... You want powdered lime, like baby powder consistency. And this will be fast acting, cheap and easy to use. Some people even make a liquid lime slurry to water in for fast results. But also, don't assume anything about your soil, get...

    Indoor cover crop/companion plant thread

As for the peas, another dwarf variety of Shelling Peas I know about and have grown, would be wonderful as an undersown companion crop. It's called "Tom Thumb", and grows about 6 inches tall, and produces ToNS of tasty peas. All while fixing some nitrogen and keeping your worms happy with some...

    Indoor cover crop/companion plant thread

Now, or later, but now is sooner. :eyesmoke: If you sow now, it's called undersowing/living mulch. If you sow later (after harvest) it's called green manure/cover crop. Living mulch can become a cover crop, once the main crop is harvested, and a cover crop, once established, can become a...

Vermicomposters Unite! Official Worm Farmers Thread

You can also trap a bunch of them by putting a clay or plastic pot with decent soil in it, upside down on the lawn. They will migrate up into the pots, and in a couple days you should have tons of them. Great way to feed a chicken as well as build soil.

    Worm casting VS LWC???

I wouldn't buy those liquid castings if I were you.. Most of the beneficial microbes will be dead by the time it arrives at your doorstep, and it seems over priced, considering you could make a couple hundred gallons of "liquid castings" with $23.00 worth of quality castings. For sure get real...

new outdoor grow for short season and small number of plants due to med restricitons

Being as close to British Columbia as you are, I would be researching the types of strains growers in BC have been successfully cultivating for generations... These other guys suggestions seem like shots in the dark IMO... Look into Canadian seed banks, with strains breed for short seasons...

    Cann's Organic No-Till Garden

Thanks guys, Kaylx is right, a little bit green, but not bad for uncured product. I've done a couple different sizes. 220, 160 and 70 micron. And prefer the 160, the 70 looks fire but you get half as much product, and the difference when smoking is negligible. I press it with a little...

    Cann's Organic No-Till Garden

Well, I didnt really document the process, but basically, just as Kalyx said, I put my trim/larf into a bucket, throw in a couple pounds of pelleted dry ice, cover with a 160 micron bubble bag and shake away for a few min. If you shake too long, your hash will be green, but hit the golden mark...

Really, a "Firearm Friendly Collective"...? This must be a joke, for real. Anyone who thinks guns have ANYTHING to do with Medical Marijuana needs to seriously reconsider their OWN mental health. I bet your looking for a "Firearm friendly" bank too, right? Id hate to walk into a bank without...
