I'll turn my main light off if I'm working under it for a good while. My other lights stay on so they're aren't getting complete darkness. I think of it as a cloud rolling by overhead. Can't see how it would harm the plants any.

good to hear, the haze dom is the only f3 version I have.

That's like asking what shape do you want your gold bars cut into? lol I think dankertowne said his favorite of the f3's was the tk dom. In my head, I imagine the nl dom might have better structure/yield.
