Is this LED too much, not enough, or solid? (Links)

Those are paid advertisement blogs. High times' list is a paid advertisement list too. You can tell if it's bullshit if they have overpriced blurple LEDs listed. Like blackdog, kindled, any of the chinese ones like viparspectra, and a bunch others that are just pieces of shit.

    CXB3590 versus Quantum Boards

It is when fossil fuel based electricty is wasted in ungodly amounts by inefficient, old technology like lighting. That's why incandescents were banned. And judging by how many manufacturers are no longer making CFL bulbs, i'd say flourecents will be banned soon too. If the entire world suddenly...

Then they will fall behind other growers who can adapt to changes in technology and technique. Simple as that. If they cared about their hobby, they would make a valiant effort to learn new techniques and implement them, and research the latest and greatest technologies like lights to grow the...

HLG 135w kit is good for a 2x2 and you can pay to get it prebuilt, though it would only take 10 minutes to do it yourself. 200w of these LEDs in there is way overkill for a veg tent. 135w will flower a 2x2 out nicely. If you only plan to veg, you could honestly get away with only 75-100 watts...

Yeah amazon reviews are pretty useless for looking at LED panels. Most are paid/fake reviews, and the rest are people who buy it and leave a review like "just purchased this. havent gotten it yet. 5 stars" or similar to that lol. You should be able to use your grow light from seed to harvest...

Yeah it does work. That's why everyone has been using HPS to grow since the 80's. And that's also why long time HPS users, who went through the LED scams/lies/false promises over the last 6-8 years, have such a hard time giving up their HPS lights. They've been told for many years now that LEDs...

Well if you can only afford a single 600 viparpsectra, I would look into getting the HLG 135w kit instead. You want 3000k, 3500k, or 4000k for seed to harvest. https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/products/135w-led-board-kit It will output the same light as the viparspectra, with half the...

Is this LED too much, not enough, or solid? (Links)

No. You can use 2 of them in that size tent but the heat will suck balls. 1 of those in a 2x4 is not going to work well at all. 2x 300w ones would be a lot better since it's spread out, but you can easily throw twice as much at your plants. 3x 300w would be the best option, as the heat is just...

Lol what are you smoking dude. My plant is fine. It started to get hungry a few days ago so I fed nutrients for the first time. And it was a bit too much. First time using this nutrient line, been using GH for years and swapped to nectar which is a totally different kind of nutrient line. It...

Yep. And LED technology is ahead where we thought it would be now a few years ago. Here is a .gov picture estimating the avg. efficacy of LEDs. I mean I see a LOT of buildings/hospitals/etc. have upgraded to super efficient LEDs (literally like the samsung strips, they actually are used in...

Well you seem to view these LEDs in a somewhat negative light. And you said you didnt think your QBs would even come close to your HPS light they replaced. But that's on you. Not the LEDs. When newbies are pulling over 1.6 grams per watt quite often their first or second grow, any experienced...

Because they know LEDs are better in the back of their mind... but don't want to believe the countless grows proving their performance or the data because they're stuck in their HPS ways... aka being in denial that LEDs are as good as they actually are. I understand where they come from...

I dont have any? And what would be the purpose, i never claimed any potency differences... And how would you go about backing yourself up with lab results if you said you can't get lab results from home grown weed.....? I dont want to argue with you. I just am trying to correct bad info.

I pulled 18 ounces using 420 watts of chinese blurple LEDs in a 2x4 tent (check my sig). Chinese blurple LEDs are half as efficient as your QBs are. If I can pull 18 ounces with 420 watts of those, you can absolutely pull 20 ounces with 400w of QBs. 400w of QBs = 800w of the blurples I was...

What doode lol. I am in colorado and there is a shitload of places you can go in and get your bud tested. It's like $150 for a potency test. I plan on sending in my next harvest for testing. Not because I have an HPS grow to compare it to, but just for curiousity. What? That is totally false...

350-400 watts will absolutely replace a 600w HPS no problems. If it doesnt yield you the same as you did under the hps, you fucked up your technique/environment conditions somewhere. That's not the LEDs fault, it's the grower's.

    CXB3590 versus Quantum Boards

Yeah no biggie :) I just hope HPS growers recognize how quickly you can pay to upgrade to LEDs simply in electricity cost savings. My 350w (draw) led setup is very close in PPF/ppfd of a 600w hps, but I am saving $200 a year in electricity by using the LEDs. That's a lot of money, and...

Yes you should use higher temps, and slightly higher humidity. This is because with these LEDs being so intense, they push the plants to their max (just like HPS at 65w a square foot does_) . And the only way cannabis can make use of that much light is if the leaf temp is around 85F or higher...

16 hours is a median between 12 hours for flower cycle and 18 hours for veg. And if you arent running your lights all year round, then factor that into the cost ofc.
