    HLG 550v2 - VS - Alibaba light

Not saying it is very effective. But there was this store near where I lived and they had 1 huge plants in their shop under a 600. I think the space was 5 x 5. They vegged it for weeks and weeks. Then they flipped and 14 weeks later or so they harvested. It was almost 2 kilo of yield. Counting...

    HLG 550v2 - VS - Alibaba light

Not if these 150 grams came from a huge plant that vegged for many many weeks. And perhaps the person claiming 3 grams per watt only has 200 Watt of this modern led above a 3 x 3. Grams per watt by itself does not tell the whole story. The factors 'surface' and 'time' are also important. But...

    HLG 550v2 - VS - Alibaba light

Again, 3 gram per Watt is not that hard, even with HPS. If... if you veg for God knows how many weeks and you got huge plants before you flip. If... if you have not 600 Watt of HPS above a 3 x 3 or 4 x 4, but above 5 x 5 or 6 x 6 or even more. If... if you don't bother too much about quality but...

2 grams per Watt led I have seen before. 3 grams per Watt is also possible (even under HPS) if you have not that much light per square meter and if you veg forever. And also if you count in extremely small buds (popcorn size) But perhaps new lamps are so much better or efficient that it is...

Kingbrite uses Samsung if I'm informed correct. 2.5/3 gram per watt sounds a lot to me. That is why I am wondering how he grows. Perhaps he is vegging forever and even counts the tiniest popcorn. But perhaps also this specific fixture is state-of-the-art

Is there anywhere where you can see a growjournal from this guy, outside IG? He has restrictions on his IG. I don't want to follow someone.

HLG Saber vs Amare SB800, Wedding cake RDWC

It is probably something like hydrochloric acid, diluted to 5%. I also wonder if it will be available in all markets. Because there are some countries where it is required to state what ingredients are in it. Especially with hazardous substances.

HLG Saber vs Amare SB800, Wedding cake RDWC

On the contrary. I am just curious if it works, and I want to follow as many growers who use it as possible. I also do hope it works great and it becomes a well known product, because then soon there will be copy-cats because in my opinion the device is overpriced and what is really overpriced...

Not want to be a nitpicker. But the right name is 'PerfectPH'. Ph Perfect is another product. Some people know what you mean, but when someone uses the search-button and enters 'perfectph' then your topic would no show up in the list.

Mega Crop vs Dyna-Gro comparison grow

the extra branching is because of the amount of N, so says @homebrewer Always wondered how a nutrient could be the same for both veg and flower. It might look handy but it also must have a downside. Guess the 'extra branching' is one of those downsides.

40+ lbs with 12 Plants in 2 Rooms on a Flip

If it is just a little bit, why would it be a problem? It is not the same water, as every cycle it will get refreshed. Some water in the channels will even give the roots something to absorb in between cycles. If they do not absorb it, also no problem. Kratky showed us that roots develop also in...

I think it is polyester most of the time, yes. It is only to give some support and to keep some water in the tray all the time. I doubt you need it. So if you do some test, also look at 'without any mat'. If you buy it in large quantities, it will be cheap. If it is useless, you can always...

Reservoir : stirring pump or air stone?

So on day 1 you make a res. You check the pH and the EC, I guess. And how do you go on from there? Do you top of with R water? Or with water with nutes and then check pH and EC again? Or what is you system?

The pH is your tea might have to do with the fact that you bring a lot of CO2 while you are brewing. I do not know that much yet about the PerfectPH, but I am pretty sure it will not work in any reservoir that is not in touch with developed roots. But curious about the answer as well.
