buy you a new T5 HO ballast, sell them at Hd and Lowes for around $15 last time I was there(about 2weeks ago). Buy you some new t5 ho bulbs as well, other then that just switch everything out and should be good to go.

Quick update for today. Last couple days started to notice some devlopement of calyx's on a couple plants. Starting to really see some calyx development on those couple plants today, starting to swell quiet nicely too. Shall see sex on a couple in the morning hopefully! Pics to come tomorrow.

I would def be interested in seeing a diy version of either one of these systems. When are you planning on doing this type of grow setup? I am interested in seeing how it goes for you if you were to do a journal on it. I like the concept of both setups, just that price tag is what kills me lol.

On my previous grow, I used 4100k for veg. Everything seemed the same almost as the 6500k(slightly lesser growth but not much noticeable). I say anything ABOVE 4100k is fine for veg, mix it up or whatever. Though there are cfl guys and gals who use 2700k in a 12/12 from seed and NON 12/12...
