    CO2 extraction

Top quality is first hit w subcritical co2 along w a variety of co-solvents to optimize yields and flavors and done around 800-1200 psi. It is not done supercritical then filtered as some things don't come out and since filters clogging are the next issue dealt w. The best extractions are done w...

What to seal BHO extractor besides coffee filter/cheesecloth?

Fuck all these recommended tips suck ass. Ethanol at 190 proof is so wasteful of worthy solvent to do your reclaiming. 1 gallon of 200 proof costs $109. A gallon of acetone is $18 and is not going to leave a taste of ever using it, whilst being more thorough than the highly selective ethanol. No...

how to get the best yields!

When I blast, the temp is very cold. However, when the extraction was holding pressure, getting heated, as it swept through the extreme phases and was stable, that temperature that was taken while it didnt fluctuate up or down, is the extraction temperature. Subcritical liquid extractions are...

how to get the best yields!

The key is filling the vessel in a negative pressure so that you lower the bp and thus lowering it's supercritical temperature. In reality, closed loop loses little. If the oils release from the plant matter they will most likely end up along the side walls of the vessel and can be reclaimed...

    Solvents for making hash oil

The pumps aren't that outrageous in regards to cost. I have the practical methodology down for ma and pa type operations utilizing minimal equipment for maximum results minus the needed lab to get it done. Shit, I'm trying to scale it up and not look back at the little things that I got down pat.

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

Kief isn't the biggest yielding part of the plant. Its not even the most impressive high, just looks nice on the plant. The yellow extracts aren't the highest scoring extracts around as the red oil is what is really desired. Then purify that into a recrystallized product called cannabinol.

    Solvents for making hash oil

I seen your liquid co2 dewar set up. You were so close, but you need not three vessels. You would need a large air driven liquid pump geared 60:1 like Haskel, next you would need a large volume compressor to feed bulk supply of air so that co2 could be pumped in as a high pressure gas or a...

    Solvents for making hash oil

Acetone comes in food grade. It's way bad ass for extracting if moderately used, it's great for rinsing any vessels used to extract or transfer from container to container, just avoid plastics and rubber contaminants and the results are shocking. Freon is the shit, chloroform is the shit, there...

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

I made oil from bubble hash that was about 60% trash and 40% yields were common. True full melt was red in color w amazing hash taste. That was a people pleaser most complimented as the best dab ever.

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

I happen to get enough hands on and find the supercritical fluids is facinating and accurate representation of matrices.

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

Soy is also a terpinoid co-solvent as a hexane alternative, but outclassed by oxygen compressed in teroinoid recovery. Fact is I use all co-solvents around from freon to ethane, ethanol to hexane, isobutane through acetone, dimethyl ether to nitrous oxide, more use of propane as its been dialed...

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

Are you serious? That yield is so small, its maybe a dab worth. Keep scaling it up though, maybe a gram isnt to far away!

    Extraction info

Try pulling vacuum on your closed loop system prior to filling. I love how willingly the butane goes in or any solvent for that matter. If an accident happened where the tip broke, the worst case scenario is you pull in air but save your butane from splashing out. You may want a check valve so...

possible to remove 99+% of THC, while keeping buds in tact?

To 153F. You need a melting point apparatus kit and precision to perfom the task at hand, but I can do it.

possible to remove 99+% of THC, while keeping buds in tact?

The answer you look for is yes you can remove a large percentage of THC, 90% FIRST EXTRACTION. It requires using chloroform in addition to your bho recipes. Such small additions is needed about a capful per oz. Once the oil is obtained, cbd can be removed by temperature as its mp is 151F

how to get the best yields!

You guys are funny. The best yields are done hot. Propane has a low supercritical pressure of 620 psi or so and 207F. At 105F the vapor pressure is 210 psi. At 70F the vapor pressure is 127 psi.

Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

Perhaps the weight of water makes a difference? Superheated steam is the next new trend to yet be seen. Using DI water to extract non-polar compounds.
