I plugged my ballast into my other hood and it worked fine...its a bulb. I have two broken hortilux bulbs under warranty that need to get sent back in.

hey guys tonight I walked into my room to find my bulb not lit up. i looked under the hood and it was dimly lit up, and hot. I unplugged the ballast and plugged it back in. The bulb came on to its previous state, very dim. Is this a bad ballast or bad bulb?

My 2nd light is not firing up. Its dim, hot, but not bright at all. Bad ballast or bulb?? Im assuming ballast... what a bad time to fuck up.

A green light from a hydro-shop wont bother them while they're sleeping but a green cfl "party light" is only painted green and WILL wake them up. I only use mine for emergencies

After using 2x600 I will probably never buy a 1000w lamp. I am a firm believer in the 600w's as well.
