Yeah tying them down will give you some killer buds. It creates a horizontal plane for your main stem so the side branches become colas and grow vertical like this _|_|_|_ lol if anyone doesn't get that, the "_"s are the main stem, the "|"s are the branches....just for the OP to know obviously...

well if you're gonna smoke it anyway just separate it from the rest of your plants to ensure no pollination occurs. Still tho growing that hermy plant all the way thru can possibly yield some smokable herb and even if it dies who cares smoke what you got. Just make sure you wash your hands...

Haha thank you man, if it weren't for this forum i wouldn't know shit. I'm only on my first grow (closet grow, cfl, bag seed) and they're turning out very dank. I feel I've learned a vast amount of info, much more than I would know just from what I've grown so far anyway.

Yeah I think he probably read some where about giving less light in the last couple weeks of bloom because it apparently "tricks your plant into thinking winter is coming". Not really sure how valid that info is...I'm definitely not going to try it lol

Dude make butter or hash for sure, i see some trichs on those buds and if you can use non-sugary fan leaves for alcohol or butane hash you can FOR SURE use what you have there for it. Should make some really good shit, though not a huge amount. Who cares tho man, get high!

It really depends on what lights, nutrients, and strain you're using (there are many more factors but those are some main ones) With more height it means the lower buds are farther away from your light, as light decreases with distance. If you have some powerful lights or good side lighting...
