Ok the chimney has 2 chambers one with ducting going straight to the house fire down stairs, the second chamber is not in use, it used to go to the master bedroom which about 20 years ago would of been used by a bedroom fire (pre central heating) So basicaly its just a useless piece of...

There is a powerfull extractor fan fitted directly into the chimney via some ducting and the foam box pictured was built arround it so i can cut holes anywere in that foam box to add extra ducting if needed, its like my master extraction box, even with the fans all switched off the box still...
